What breed is he? My emotional support pup is a Staffie X but we don't know what the other breed is (the seller was curiously reluctant to tell the truth). This pup looks just like mine without the Staffie bit.

“Emotional support” lol you gonna be one of those Karen’s that drags him into areas where pets aren’t allowed and gets mad when he’s not allowed because he’s not actually a certified and trained service dog? There’s no such thing as emotional support dogs. There are pets and there are certified service dogs. You have a pet.

@@martuuk8964 Ah, but your life doesn't depend on a pet, mine does. And, no, there are no laws in the UK regarding emotional support or service animals (OR any other service dog excepting "Seeing" dogs/dog for the blind). There are currently no guidelines re "companion animals" on supporting an autistic person in a Neurotypical environment for example. As yet it's all done at the shop manager's disgression (most are obliging). No, I will approach whatever member of staff is closest to the entrance (normally security who will call on the manager for the final decision) and ask if it's ok or not. If not then I may or may not be able to shop there. An untrained dog is of no use to anyone (except a good trainer obviously!) and, as such, shouldn't be allowed in what have been traditionally been animal free environments regardless of a service or emotional support role.
