They will be feeling the pain in the next 3-4 mths. Rates will go up again very shortly.

What ever goes up always comes down..

I've always called Lakewood Ranch "Stepford Ranch..." Perfect homes and lawns, perfect wives... Perfect families. Oh the snobbery! BTW... The "equity' always protects the bank!

Well count me in! I want to be around snobby rich perfect community! So much better then…, garbage cans on side of their homes, and cars in the street or driveway with oil stains, grass is dead cause they can’t afford to water the yard “middle class community”.!

I build homes in Lakewood Ranch and this community is building quickly. Schools are great and restaurants and shops are in place. Beautiful area

How can one obtain avail listing?

GHOST TOWN 😳,,, no traffic, no people walking around at all? That tells me there are a large inventory of speculation housing sitting empty or just unsold empty homes ,,,

Thanks for sharing - Lakewood Ranch does not have all the golf carts (which I think are unique) and is designed for the retirement lifestyle. The prices in Lakewood Ranch are higher than The Villages.

I drove 18 wheeler back in the 1990's .Lakewood ranch didnt even exist ..it was all cow pastures and swamp back then off of Sr-70

Try to drive on any main road. Over crowded with speeders from the north. Overdeveloped without the infrastructure kept up to pace.

What are you selling the places for 500k lol, prices in Lakewood ranch are still crazy overpriced as with much of Florida. The wages in Florida are garbage for the most part, whose buying these places.

I don't know what the draw is to Florida yeah I know the weather is nice but, you have heat and terrible humidity, alligators,snakes and hurricanes. No thank you!!!

BE CAREFUL when yo buy in a planned community in Florida. Many ,many of the homes are owned by foreign investors who rent or visit for a couple of months a year and the house just sits there vacant. It happens all over Florida, all of the time. CAREFUL or how will be the only Christian in a Muslim investment community.

Overbuilt…Florida is quickly losing its appeal. Irresponsible overdevelopment.

If the building rate keeps up, Florida is going to look like a deteriorating strip mall in a few years. A lot of it is also going to be underwater with rising sea levels and hurricane destruction.

@@eattherich9215 No matter where you end up, Always get a police crime report for your area. IF in a HOA, management should tell you how many homes are owner occupied Vs. Rental.
