The Mall at UTC is like a copy of the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.UTC is fancier,it doesnt even have a food court and the area around d the mall is 1000% better.Millenia in Orlando is fancy and nice but its surrounded by some crappy areas,some of the worst in Orlando,UTC is nice,truly upscale and nicer than Naples.

Traffic is bad in season.What are you doing for work up there? Lakewood Ranch is isolated from downtown Sarasota,Siesta Key,St.Armands Circle,it is more a sprawled out planned suburb .In season it takes awhile to get all thru Bradenton and Sarasota from point A to point B,just like Ft.Myers or Naples.

There has always been the next big thing snob community in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. I moved down in 1984 and started doing floor covering. Then it was Long Boat where they thought we would bring out the materials and tools to do the job, drop them off and go back into town and come back on a buss so there would not be any work trucks on the key. Then there was the Meadows, Prestancia etc. and now Lakewood Ranch. These people all finally realize that they are just liveing in another McMansionVille and start coming back down to Earth. This usually happens shortly after all the developers abandon the area when there done sucking up as much money as they can. I am to old but it may be possible that you guys will live to go back and do a Dead Mall vid at the UTC mall you drove by. They are running out of cheap land and cheap labor so it may be sooner than you think.

Lake wood ranch is nice because of the UTC shopping center and the utc mall was planned out well. But I wouldn’t say lake wood ranch is fancier then Naples the houses in Naples are super Grand. Also Naples has a secluded and exclusive feel to it
