More than amazing? What this movie? Were we watching the same movie even? Dull, boring and uninteresting.

Don't you just love these rural town movies where someone returns home to settle old scores, revive a sweatheart love, find things have not changed much and everybody knows everybody else? Magical. Such a good watch. Thanks for making such good old movies available free.

Anyone who cannot understand what causes some people to have issues with drugs and and alcohol should be made to watch this movie. It is heart wrenching, good acting. I didn't know I was looking at Henry Fondas grandson, no wonder he carried on so well. All the actors were good.

Such an amazing film, all the actors are so talented. A beautiful film! About forgiveness, healing and love, just to name a few. It is one I will treasure and watch again and again.

Nothing like small town intimacy. I always thought my small town was full of dorks, but moving away I realized the sincerity in small town folk is priceless. Great movie to help bring back the roots of ones beginnings. Thank you.

People are people in small towns, midsized towns, big towns and ghost towns.

Heartfelt movie for any Son and his Mother. I remember dancing with my mom on the patio of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki. I hope she had that memory of us when she passed away.

yeah me too and she also go to hawaii and study and work there she want me learn hawaiian dance so i did..we used to dance in our sala and my grandma yhey were happy so am i and my siblings.. i miss her so much so as my brother and her parents i miss them hope to see them soon..thus they..i pray and wish they remember us more than we do and wish and pray they are very happy now..😢😇 my condolences and rip to all of them..😢😇

I forgot how much I like Sissy Spacek. Great actress and woman.

Good movie. Not predictable at all. There are so many lessons/reminders with each character--forgiveness, mourning and healing, unconditional love of a parent, second changes, determination...

This is not a good movie It is a GREAT movie! Well written, excellent acting, moving story. 5 stars!

They could have added one more thing to make it a perfect movie given what Sissy Spacek in the very beginning was told by the guy in the restaurant about the with the three bedrooms and the pool... and it would have gone perfectly with what the boy told her about where he and his mom were going to live someday : the ending should have shown Sissy Spacek with a 3-bedroom house in Mexico with the pool and it should have shown them in the ocean nearby ... that would have been the Cherry and the icing on this cake . They should have followed through with it

Great movie indeed, acting was real...if sissy spacek in it I better watch.

Tears for what was, what might have been & what we have come to . . . . . Warts & all the beauty of unexpected blessings. This movie has it all & makes you realize the little everyday things are the making of our best lives.

I am thrilled with these hidden gems I'm finding on YT lately, and this movie is no exception. Quite good quality too. Thank you for the upload. I am so subscribing!

Great Movie, thanks for posting! There is no stronger bond than between a mother and her child/children. We’d do anything for the ones we love. This is a beautiful story about loss, hope and love.

It brings tears and joy at the same time. I love this movie, bravo to an excellent acting performance. ❤

Finally, finally a movie much more than worthy of watching all the way through -- finally. Give it a watch, you just might enjoy it as much as I did... You are simply the best Sissy Spacek, as always.

You bet! What a pleasure she is. I feel that she is underrated in Hollywood.

Since getting my first glimpse of Sissy Spacek as the very young, skinny actress playing parts in Badlands and the title role in Carrie, I thought she was something special; unique, slightly different looking but attractive with that long, pretty hair. And what a tremendous actress she developed into through the decades, smart about the parts she's chosen, utterly believable in each and every one. Really a national treasure, and yet so completely unaffected and natural. Love you, Sissy.

@@raphaelandrews3617 -- I think that's pretty common with people I consider to be great actors. I think they only take roles they appreciate the quality of, and because they turn down so many roles, they never become liked by those who watch movies for what others might consider to be the wrong reasons (such as gratuitous sex and violence). I love "personalities" like Dwayne Johnson, and Hulk Hogan as much as the next person, and their movie sales show that there are many, many who love them as much as I do, but for true acting ability, I don't think either can hold a candle to Sissy Spacek, even if she'll most likely never match the first two I mentioned in total sales. Another couple actors I feel fall into this same category would be Kevin Spacey and -- if you don't mind going back a ways -- Richard Chamberlain. Both were amazing actors, but neither became the type of leading character that Hollywood banks on (today at least). Anyway, just my thoughts for whatever they're worth.

Sissy Spacek was on the Waltons when she was a teenager. She was excellent then and superb now. One of my favorite actresses.

Beautiful southern story telling and bravo to the acting.

Sissy Spacek makes such INCREDIBLY EXCELLENT MOVIES!!! This was such a well written movie and definitely heart wrenching… It speaks the truth of many peoples lives who have lost a child or a parent turn the years that it takes to get over it; as well as being married to someone who just gets involved in something that just takes time down a deep, dark hole...And the love of a family who will do anything to protect them and try to save them. Rarely does it EVER work!! I know!! Excellent Acting! Loved this movie! The young boy did a fine job making us believe every word he spoke and every emotion he acted!!. He’s going to be a fine actor as he already is! I just love Sissy Spacek movies ~ 5*****💕

Hard to believe Sissy is almost 70! She looks great.

A+++++ movie! looks like Lake City in the 80s early 90s. if you didn't get cable, no channels came in. Good movie!. Sissy is such a good, intense actress 💖 Clayton such a southern name. He needs to raise him up proper, and be a father to the boy. Grandma knows best!

Interesting film that deserves credit. The actor who played Billy reminded me at times of a young Al Pacino and was quite good. The real surprise for me was the acting chops of Dave Matthews....I didn't even know he was into acting. Thanks for this.

He reminds me of Billy Nolan from Carrie. It certainly ring bells. By looks not personality.

For me this type of movie never gets old. Acting, real characters and situations. Enough of a story but not too complicated. Basic stuff well done.

Great country movie' Sissy Spacek was at her best in Lake City Movie.

Just started watching the movie. It can't go wrong with Sissy Spacek I just finished the movie. What sweet and sad movie. If we could all learn to forgive. We'd have a better world to live in. I'm not sure why her son left....but hopefully not for long.
