That ending was one of the greatest plot twists I have ever seen. Nobody would’ve guessed it at first, but when you go back and analyze ronald from start to finish it starts to kind of make sense

This could have been a great movie. It tackles important issues and the character ensemble fit together well. Important scenes were cut back or left on the cutting-room floor. The difference between real life and fiction is that fiction has to be believable. The plot asked us to be too forgiving. As Samuel Goldwyn said, let's have some new clichés. But I liked it.

Hayden Panettiere... one of the kindest, sexiest and sweetest actress and model i've ever seen in my life!! and she has also Italian origin.. TOP

A brilliant story full of creepy characters and so well acted. I have the feeling that the girl knew who kidnapped her and understood why. A fascinating twist to the plot. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

For those who still don't get what the story means, I have a rough idea. The teacher had some beef with ally's father. Remember his requirements to do the ransom trade with the father. This also explains how "the end justifies the means" mentioned in the video

*******Spoiler alert ***************************** Here is my Thought..Teacher was the Kidnapper, His neighbor is his wife, The reason he had large amount of cash is because of previous scams he and his wife able to pull off, not due to insurance money. Though everyone is usual suspects here, least suspected one is the main suspect. He got his new car for free, became hero in everyone's eye, The reason he gave away his pet tortoise to ally bf, because they were running away at the end. Though it seemed like ally's father or bf could be suspects, it was actually his neighbor helping him taking care of victim when he took care of police.

Like if you have to shoot someone in self defense or take out a mortgage in order to have a nice house to raise your family in, or do exploratory surgery if you are a doctor to make a diagnosis etc. Life is full of them.

Wow

Good movie. Very simple, yet complex on many levels. What really drew me in though, was everyone's comments or many of them. Many distractions and subplots along the way too confuse us. I had to watch the movie several times to be very clear about the story, and who really did it. The first two times, I wasn't paying a lot of attention, and I missed viewing a couple of key scenes in the movie while doing other things, at the same time. Several things we try to place as important are nothing. Other things are very relevant but we overlook them because of other things going on. The real question in the story is why not who, and was there a single reason or shifting reasons. For such a simple story and movie it gets very deep and complex before we know what's happening, then substory lines and subplots are added to throw us off.

Because Ally really meant nothing to her father. Ally is missing and her dad is trying to make big bucks using Ally missing as a reason. Her father only acted when Mr. Biggs has a press conference about reward money, which also leads into another subplot, which is between Mr. Biggs and Ally's father.

GREAT MOVIE MAJOR TWIST WORTH WATCHING

She was the typical "good student". Everybody knew her. She was gorgeous, an A student and on the cheerleading team.
