I can't believe it myself! So stoked!

Run a single battery, you’ll get double the speed. My 9125 runs at the normal speed with a single battery, and it’s about 22 mph. When I run the parallel cord it is like flipping the low switch, and then flipping the low switch makes it even slower.

I will try that. The quality of the connector might be bottlenecking the juice.

Great review brother, these are an awesome entry level truck, they also can take a beating on 3s all day long man, install a wheelie bar as she will flip easy lol, I made a heap of mod vids on the Xinlehong 9125 a couple years back, knocking on 10k awesome and congrats David, have a good weekend bro 👍😎🍻

Nice! Did you run 3s on stock electronics? Seems to be a good truck to have around as a basher. 10k is right around the corner for you as well! Keep them vids coming!

@@RunThatRC yeah bro I ran it on 3s all the time on the stock 60A ESC for a couple years, even tried 4s and it handled it 😁 but I do not recommend 4s lol. 3s is fine on this truck. I converted it earlier this year to brushless and gave it to my brother, very fast little rig now 👍

Just got this bad boy for $60 on Amazon. It was discounted to $160 and there was an Amazon prime $50 off coupon. That left it at $110 but I had about $60 in Amazon credit 💪

I have the xinglihong version, the judge, and I'm pretty sure it was more than 17 out the box. But it will do 3s. Mine is dual brushless now and is stupid fast! Great at the skatepark!

so, it IS a xinlehong 9125 with the upgraded drivetrain. I bought one for my 5 year old son a while back and it's been great. Like RTR said, super quiet. It jumps really well and so far only the front bumper has failed. I swapped in the Laegendary 1000 mah 2s lipos that came with my Sonic, and it was faster than with the included 1600 mah batteries. I haven't measured the speed though. He's abused it and so far so good. Those shocks are hit or miss.

I've had great luck out of mine for the price it's a great truck. The only thing I would tell people is to check for the replacements parts list. My rear lower control arm got broken and they haven't had the part in stock for over 6 months.

I agree. Maybe 25mph would have been a good speed for this to start with.

Is there a way to add one brushless motor and esc or do you have to run two motors?

You can probably get away with a single motor system and just leave the other side blank.

I actually gave this away so can't make that happen anymore unfortunately. I would worry about the diffs because of the lack of a slipper clutch in these.

Also on a side note I want to try out their Triton truck which is smaller

@@RunThatRC the Triton is a 1:20 scale rc truck. So far most reviews on Amazon are positive.

I'm about to get one of these. Should it be this one for the price or should I go with the one called Thunder? It's brushless but I'm not sure if it's worth it. My pocket is screaming help and these are not even that expensive. Lol Thanks for the video!

Hello! I Have this model, runs great, but just rigth now my car doesn´t connect with the remote control! when I turn on the Control the car lights start to blink, someone could give me any advice? thanks

sorry to hear that. You might have a issue with either the transmitter or ESC/receiver. Unfortunately you would need another transmitter ir esc to test which is defective. I would contact the seller if its new. (make sure your batteries on the RC and controller are charged and new.

if it looks like this with a different paint job on the body then they are all similar so just pick the one you like more.

Change the battery to series to see how fast it will go and how long that makes the run time

I've had one where the light port didnt work but the truck worked fine so I just run it.

very similar just a little different in chassis layout but majority of the parts fit each other. Id have to say they are kind of the same rc.

Seems pretty good. Too bad it's not about 5mph faster, it would be perfect. Wonder if it could take 2 3s 1000 mah packs?

@@RunThatRC hmm. If the box says 2s only, the bec may be bypassed with a cheap bec. 3s with that motor would be a perfect match for the stock handling. It would rip. But not be crazy like brushless.

​@ragsixracing Just to be clear, nowhere on the box or in the manual does it say not to use 3s....I just bought this for $100 and tho it is really fun on 3s the Hosim X08 I bought my girlfriend kicked this things a$$ and same as the legend no where does Hosim say you can run 3s.... but on HOSIMS web page they proudly display you are welcome to run 3s in the X08 💕 Ps it's not even close HOSIM X08 for any adult, Legend for kids in my opinion.

Would you say it's more 1/12th scale?

it really isn't a bad Rc truck. I also wish it was faster. some people in the comments have mentioned running 3s on the stock electronics and that should put some pep in it's step.

Its so similar to xinlehong 9125 .

other people report the same. Both mine got about the same speed and some said if I ran the batteries by themselves instead of running parallel it will be faster. I haven't tried it yet though.

I can't tell what's included and what's not when they send me one. Usually what I get is what everyone gets. I know when Hypergo sends me extra stuff they make sure to tell me those aren't included an I can mention it. hopefully yours wasn't just missing the spare stuff or maybe there are different package options?

i dont get why this is that slow having two 390 motors, for 50 70 dollars is a very good deal, what is the opinion of you people that already have it?

its definitely not the fastest but it is still fun and durable for what it is.

Pretty underwhelming. Could be a cool project I suppose but I think I'll stick with my wltoys 104009 instead . Got too many projects already as it is 😅

The tires are ok for this truck but they are on the hard side. They have foams and do ok but nothing to write home about.

Yeah the construction and number of accessories you get with it seems to make it worthwhile. I'll keep the tires in mind if I can find them. No replacements for the 104009 as of yet so perhaps they could work for now haha as always, great review bro! 😁

@@slowjamcdub there are Chinese factories that make unbranded stuff in great numbers. Brands like Leagendary don't have their own factory and "shop" their models from this kind of factories and put their brand on it.
