I have this same truck and it's a lot of fun for a beginner truck. My teenaged son liked it after pretending he didn't think it was cool at first 😆 but after letting him use it through the whole battery pack, I bought him his own and he was stoked. Now he's always wanting to go to the parks with me to jump them 😀

The batteries are in parallel not in series… so you get longer time, higher amps but not higher voltage. It’s still 2s powered with both batteries. Cool affordable rc car!

came here to say this. but you beat me to it. It says in the manual that it "extends" the run time by joining the 2nd battery.

I ended up building my own battery pack using two 18650 batteries and recycling the wires from the bad pack. It has worked out well so far

Love this truck! I have been running mine for a few months now with a 3s 5000mah battery and it really rips! My kids have beaten this thing up to, my one complaint is the front bumper is very weak! Has anyone else tried a 3s battery?

Bought one and got it this weekend, already ran a battery threw it. Love it so far. Tough little truck. Twin engine, oil shocks. Very nice and cheaper than t-max. So far very happy good video guys.

Not really, wait a couple of weeks. I’m sure the differentials will blow out. You hit anything at decent speed it’s instantly has a bent axle.

Yeah it's an awesome truck for the first couple runs. It has lost about a quarter of it's power. The oil shocks are blown out and leaked all over the place now and it's water proofness isn't so water proof. And the cv axles keep throwing and the nuts keep spinning off no matter how tight I get them causing the wheels to fall off randomly. The lights fell apart some how too the wires just snapped off from the leds and there is no rigging it back up. Lights are trivial though and just add weight. The motors are sounding rough and so is the gearing as well. It doesn't track right any more either. I have driven it in grass and light gravel and dirt with some minor jumps here and there. NoThing crazy. After a few jumps I noticed it sitting considerably lower and dry dust sticking to the shocks. It no longer flips itself like it used to when you hit the throttle. Still a fun toy to play with now that I really am not concerned with breaking it but it definitely loses its performance quick.

The splitter makes it still 2 s but 2 1600 mah battery = 3200mah for more run time

You don't get 4s when running both packs. Series is doubling the voltage, but that's a parallel plug, meaning you get double mah. Both are 1500, so you get 3000. If you had the positive of one ran to the other, with the negative of one and positive of the other ran to the esc, that would make it 4s, and highly unrecommended with what I'm sure is like may e a 25/30 amp esc. So, you get double run time which is still cool.

You don't get 4S power. It is still 7.4 V, but you have more mah with two batteries and it will last longer than with one battery.

Its a fun first rc...and not a terrible build. Decent quality for 130 bucks, id say

Almost 200 now but I like mine. Just wish part support was better. Like. Find a rear lower arm after shock nub breaks off and I gotta run single shocks in rear. Not pleased w that. Fun truck otherwise

I received this car today I can't connect 2 batteries at once I mean I connect two batteries but the lid doesn't close how do you connect two batteries and close the lid

Are there any aluminum upper controll arms that will fit this?

I would like to figure out upgrades to it. Mines pretty.much a junky one but it still runs would like to upgrade soeed

I think that splitter just gives you double mah to run longer. Not double voltage.

And the C rating doubles theoretically. That's probably why it feels a little bit faster and more lively.

@@SpookySpencerFinnLoki It does but heat becomes a problem need to take the plastic heatsink guard off keep an eye on your temps. Gets a lot more pep with 3s just dont go to big on the run time due too heat

Saw this on Amazon , wanted to see if this was worth it

11:30 same thing happened to me. I flipped it and I lost both rear c clips. Wtf also some suspension failures 1st day. Flipped it once and have little to no rc experience. Feel like they shouldn’t be that fragile.

The two batteries don't give it any HP just a longer run time.

I'm sorry but that's not 4s, that adapter is designed to double the run time because It's a parallel adapter. They come with almost all of these budget cars. I have 2 them with my Cars. Amazon does sell a Series adapter that is identical that will push it to 4s. And that car can run 4s for a least a little while but keep an eye on the temps because you can overheat the esc.

I doubt he'd get 5 minutes before it overheated, if it would run 4S at all, without burning the motor up... lol

I have one and the bumpers break way too easy. The battery packs are easy to get holes rubbed in just putting them in

They say the extra battery just makes it run longer not faster

Still 2 s just runs longer. I think you would fry it on 4s
