    This mn82 needs weight in the cabin and on the rear axle. There is a place in the frame for the controller for the rear lights and there you can add weight so that it does not fall off the box. 200/300gramm to the rear and about 200 to the cabin should help. With weight, this is a trail truck, not a crowler.

    Hi, which one has the more powerfull motor? given the old version has 180 and V2 smaller 150, it could be some specs of the motor that will make the big diffrence. I’m curious about that 180 😊

  • @RunThatRC
    @RunThatRCСағат бұрын

    the motor is smaller but is a rounds can and seems to provide more speed and torque than the 180 they used originally. It works well for small space driving.

    @@RunThatRC cool, for a complete noob to drifting, how fun is it out of the box whizzing around? Cause it looks sweet, realism.

  • @RunThatRC
    @RunThatRCКүн бұрын

    @Sparroh it's really fun and the run time is pretty good. Make sure to get the version that comes with the built in gyro. You can adjust the gyro sensitivity on the controller to get better Drifts. Then buy a gyro to run externally when your ready for more performance. I have ran over 10 batts through this one already. Fun in small spaces and to go around stuff.

    Finally licensed, I have D12 that I have to buy an aftermarket logo for it, 2 weeks later WPL released this. Being 4WD and a 280 motor will probably make it traverse better on gravels or rougher terrains, still I am waiting for WPL to release a regular ass car, like a Daihatsu Sirion, Ford Crown Victoria, Toyota Corolla Altis or Crown, just a normal and unassuming car.

    Can’t decide between these two, which has a lower center of gravity and is better for rock crawling in general?

  • @RunThatRC
    @RunThatRC2 күн бұрын

    that's a hard choice for sure. Out the box the rock van will out perform the FMS LC80. Hard plastic body on FMS and polycarbonate type shell on the HP. They have different variations of the rock van so make sure your looking at the CR18P EVO version. That version has portal axles and the 2 speed with full metal gear drivetrain(FMS LC80 is plastic gears in the gearbox).

  • @kevinkuziw6801
    @kevinkuziw68012 күн бұрын

    @@RunThatRC that makes a lot of sense, than I wonder between the rock van and the trail hunter. I’m after a lexan body either way but it seems less common in this scale segment, aside from some designs that are not even remotely close to scale like the red cat ascent. Of course you can upgrade the lc80 but than you can upgrade the van, which is always going to out perform it because of that top heavy abs scale body.

    You can remedy the leaning side to side by moving the upper control arms forward so there is less caster. They really should have put this updated chassis and suspension arm setup on the d64 4x4 also. And they should have updated this D12 with actual compressible rubber tires.
