I mean it sounds great. But sounds very generic. Their old stuff like falling on the EP or to live is to die, comalies, etc. That work was very unique, no sound like it. No it's just generic. It's good, but generic. Bands like Deadlock have had similar sounds for a decade (see/hear awakened by sirens).

I haven't properly heard Lacuna Coil since "Comalies". I am deeply impressed how their sound matured. The achieved a nice balance with both singers (who are actually singing better and with more personality) and even the instrumental section is more interesting, especially the drums. It is good to see how time served them well! Not every band ages so well as Lacuna Coil. Congratulations and kind regards from Brazil!

I'mma be real with ya'll. I've listened to Lacuna Coil on and off for years and didn't really think Andrea added all that much in terms of vocals. He always seemed to be second to Cristina in every song I heard. Here? I genuinely thought they got a new vocalist at first. The improvements he has made are astounding. I feel like on this track both singers offer equal parts and the song wouldn't work without them both together. That's what Lacuna Coil needs to be, and I am so happy to have found this.

I first saw Lacuna Coil at an all-day Rock Festival (before then, I'd heard their songs on the radio.) Her presence live makes you feel connected to her even if you're way in the back of the crowd. Like she understands how you feel, or she can sense you're a big fan... Or she can somehow feel your outstretched hand even from over there... Mysterious.

I've never been a fan of metal, but I've been in love with Lacuna Coil since Comalies...so I wouldn't say I'm a fan of growling in music. BUT I think Andrea's shift toward more growling and just going harder in general in their last two albums has really reinvented him as a vocalist and made him a genuine strength. It definitely contrasts perfectly with Cristina's vocals.

The same happened to me 3 years ago. I liked them a lot around the Unleashed memories/Comalies era, then I moved on to other styles and groups and lost track of them. When they released Delirium I heard it by chance, loved it and that turned me back to them and explored all the albums I had missed, and to my surprise I found out I liked them all, and eventually went to see them live (they were amazing). Now they are one of my favourite bands.

Same! I actually remembered them about 3 years ago because my friend on Facebook had been liking Cristina's Facebook posts and I was seeing them in my news feed, reminded me and I thought I should see what they are doing, bought Delirium and went to see them live twice :D I hadn't listened since maybe 2005, in fact the last CD I had was Comalies.

I'd honestly recommend you get totally caught up! Because I personally love all their albums and how they've experimented and evolved over time. Karmacode is still one of my albums of theirs. I can recall listening to it on repeat for an entire day on several occasions 😅. But I really love it all. Iove the band as a whole. Everything they've done, from past to present.

Anytime you have a rough day or are in the slumps, listening to LC reminds you that metal is alive and well and great bands like LC continue to produce and perform absolutely amazing music that is unmatched, amidst the times and troubles of 2020 and 2021. Great job LC and keep it up! Hope to catch you for the third time soon!

dam the mix on this was brilliant..love how the synths ran with her vocals and how god dam menacing his vocals were...and right from the opening note..bam..this track just had an amazing presence and who ever mixed this did a brilliant job bringing all the voices here together bass drums guitars humans brilliant mix honestly think they sound better than they ever have and it would seem time has really evolved this band into such amazing musicians...really liked the dark edge this song had and how the drums and bass brought it all together.

Could not agree more. This is the first song I heard of theirs since I think Karmacode, or maybe it was Dark Adrenaline, and they have really kicked the energy up a notch. Have since also listened to their last album, Delirium, too. Really, really digging this darker, more aggressive approach from them. Cristina's vocals have never sounded more confident and powerful.
