Christina is really special, and is the "icing on the cake" of this great band. Number 4 all time favorite female singer in my list. She's in good company of the likes of Blondie, Stevie Nicks, and Annie Lennox. Good company Indeed ! (and Lena Scissorhands too. She is rapidly rising in my book and is also a very special talented metal singer!)

The intensity is built throughout the song and then you hit that awesome bridge and you get the chills... then they smoothly transition into the chorus and then the final breakdown.... OMFG so good! Top 3 Lacuna Coil songs for sure... (been a fan since 2001). I love blasting this in my car with my daughter (3)... She loves Lacuna Coil. She always puts her horns up on this one. (I taught her to put her horns up for rock/metal). LOL

Sounds like some of the Metalcore stuff from the mid-2000s, when it was actually good :D. They both nailed their roles in this song, and Andrea's vocals really help to showcase how beautiful and powerful Christina's singing is.

Her vocal range is superb - love this band!!!! Love how they can inject such beautiful vocals into such an aggressive song...GENIUS!

I found this man's in the metal section of "on demand music" back in the day and couldn't remember the name of the band since I was 13. I'm 24 now and finally randomly found it while listening to a bunch of different bands.

Excellent riff mixed with excellent vocals. Combined with an almost dark sort of music video that just clicks and almost amplifies the song.

I love Lacuna Coil, saw them live 3 days ago in Monterrey, México. What a band!! I'm still speechless!! ❤❤ So much energy! the setlist was AMAZING since the beginin' to the end. This album is so good, "House of shame", "Demons", "Downfall" etc.

Don't forget that Marco Coti Zelati is the mastermind of this band and he has done some crazy work to get the band THIS heavy! I love Lacuna Coil, I have all their albums in my cd collection and proud of it.

Ferro is a great growler, but I also like it when him and Cristina harmonize. I like the heavy stuff as well as the mellow stuff. As long as it rocks. It's all good.

This whole album is a masterpiece 👍🏻

Hot DAMN, the growth on Andrea (AND Cri, but ESPECIALLY Andrea!) is OUT of this fucking world. I have been a diehard fan of LC for 20 years. Got me through the worst times of my life and I will forever be grateful. Give us at least 10 more, guys! Please! You got this!!! Fucking love you forever.

this guy's doing the screemo shit in his 50's lmao and he's getting BETTER with each album...usually their voice degrades over the years but both of them sound better than ever, and their writing is insane too or whoever is writing this stuff. It just depends on what kind of song you like, because LC has very different genres over the years. They began as "gothic metal" with "senzafine", "falling", "purify", "heaven's a lie", "swamped". It was my favourite age. Now they're confuse haha and the songs sounds like "metal alternative" or something. If you like "blood, tears and dust", try "ghost in the mist" (the best song of Delirium, in my opinion) "delirium", "take me home", "the house of shame", "ultima ratio" or even "nothing stands in our way".

This might be my favorite song yet. I love the fact that the guitars get to show off too. Better and better as time goes on, not something you get to say about metal bands often.

This song beginning to end is just a great musical journey with this great band firing on all cylinders. But I think Christina goes above the call with her singing on this song. Rising above the song in an ethereal way that just causes your spine to tingle (at least mine does) and shooting electricity throughout your body. Absolutely LOVE this SONG! Delirium is Lacuna Coils best album to date. It is the perfect blend of heaviness, mixed with beautiful melodies, and haunting choruses like this one. This song is incredible.

During Delirium, he had a great presence with his growls. It was great. He's improved as a vocalist over the years, but his screams are really great honestly. They contrast greatly with Cristina's high vocals. Delirium was one of my favorite albums by them so far.

I also think it's related to the spell Cris mentions in the chorus of the song. Like she's summoning the four elements to cast that spell for immortaly and all that. And Andrea's character seems to offer himself as sacrifice for that ritual/spell/whaterver. I might be wrong, it's just my own interpretation. I also love the way Cristina starts laughing when the fire is mentioned :D
