I didn't listen to this song when it came out a year ago. I had a falling out with Christianity, not God, but Christianity and could no longer listen to Christian music (a genre I used to love). Now I've finally just listened to Lacey's second album and this song and it moved me to tears. "And they told me I couldn't find You here, but here You are to prove them wrong..." This line just gets me.

Jesus is God and He is truly amazing. As a former agnostic, I can truly say the Bible is trustworthy. I couldn't put my faith in mere people, but Jesus never failed me. He never fails us. He may convict us and call us to repentance, but it is because He loves us. If I know something is hurting someone, I must tell them the truth. The beautiful thing about Jesus is that He doesn't just speak the truth, but gives us strength through the Holy Spirit. We never have to be alone in this world. 💛

(haven’t personally been baptized - this is just from research ive done on the web - but considering it lately) you don’t HAVE to be baptized bc by believing Jesus is Lord & Savior you’re already baptized. If I have this right, Lacey was trying to take her own hand at the beginning, but she pulled away because she was afraid. She'd spent so much time living in fear and rejection that she forgot who she was. The dancer, with grace and beauty, patiently showed her how to dance again, how to be herself. In the end, she found her rightful place, she reclaimed her true self, and drank from the cup. That's how this resonated with me, and I fight those inner battles every day. Thank you so much, Lacey. You're a true inspiration and artist.

The Decree was my favorite single up until this song dropped. I've got to say, I really love the use of fiddling in the instrumentation, and I hope to hear more strings in Lacey's music. The lyrics are very thoughtful and give my mind something subtantial to chew on as well. Brings to mind Song of Songs, one of my favorite books in the Bible. Lovely song, it's quickly become one of my favorites and I can't stop listening to it!

Well, it's my second most watched music video of 2022, so yes, I guess you can say I love this song.

Flyleaf broken wings, and all their old songs was really something else. One of the most unique sounding bands ever.

To drown. To cry. To go as low as we can and blame Him for everything wrong in our lives and wonder why He left us. But in the silence of a moment where we truly just quiet our soul without judgement or demands, when we truly seek His presence, we find that He was always there. Waiting. Hoping we would find our way back to Him. It's hard. Sometimes it takes everyone we are to get to the point when we realize it was us who left and He never asked more than He ever has. This world is cruel. It will break the strongest of wills. We all fall short of His grace. But no matter how long we are away from Him, He will hear us and come to us when we truly seek Him. I hope you find Him in your own way. I hope He brings you peace. You are worth it.

You are the most beautiful and amazing singer I have ever heard when I'm down in my life all I have to do is listen to your music I cry but I'm ok love you and your music

Today I prayed for something that I've never prayed for before. A little back story .. my home was robbed and trash was strewned on my property. I felt violated and angry. This feeling has followed me for days. Today I prayed for the most simple thing that I needed from God ... a "hug" and within minutes of that prayer I felt lighter and that feeling that I'd been carrying around dissipated. I am humbled once again and sincerely grateful to God for what he gave me.

I can't stop listening to this. Brings tears to my eyes. I've always struggled with my own self worth and listening to this I feel the Holy Spirit just wrap me up and hold me like, "It's OK, you don't have to prove yourself to Me. I love you."

I've already listened to this song probably 100 times. It's so beautiful. The way she puts her breath and soul into every word . Amazing

I've always had respect and love for Lacey since I was a teenager. Her message was always about Christianity, and my journey took me from Christianity to Paganism. This video to me feels like not so much about finding Christianity but finding yourself, and that's how I feel about it, In my journey of finding myself I found my spiritualty and drank from its cup and now I am the real me.

You will never know real love without Jesus. He bled and died for you. No one has ever loved us like that. You will never know true peace apart from the Holy Spirit. Pride will destroy our souls. Life is very short and our choices have consequences. Please do not reject the love and grace of Jesus Christ. There is nothing in this world worth throwing your soul away to attain. I have lived the secular life. I had friends who exposed me to Paganism. It left me severely depressed and spiritually dead. The devil hates you and rejoices when you suffer. Jesus laid His life down for you that you might know freedom from sin, death, and hell. We have rebelled against our holy Creator God of perfect justice and love. Jesus can reconcile us with the God we have treated so hatefully. He offers eternal life and relationship. We have to allow our pride to be humbled. We have to accept the truth even if it offends us. We will reap whatever we sow. If you have never read the Bible, do this just to be sure you are right. Ask God to show you the truth. Read the Gospel of John to truly see who Jesus is. Read Isaiah chapter 53. This is a very clear Old Testament Messianic prophecy that Jesus fulfilled. We can have confidence that Christianity is true because God gave us clear prophecies in the Old Testament of what the Messiah would do to save fallen humanity. Most people who reject Christianity do so for emotional reasons, not because Christianity contradicts objective truth. It can only be true or false. If Christianity is the truth, that has major implications for all of us. It doesn't matter whether we believe it or not. We will all have to face a holy God one day. A holy God who will bring perfect justice to this cruel and broken world. We have all contributed to the brokenness. We all know this deep down even if we try to ignore it. God loves us enough to make the way of forgiveness. It cannot be earned. We cannot clean ourselves up. All God calls us to do is confess our sins, turn away from them, and trust on the sacrifice of Jesus to save us from our sins. The Holy Spirit gives us the strength to repent. He sanctifies us and changes our hearts. We simply need to ask Him to help us. He truly loves us and wants to make us whole. This is the unavoidable reality of the Gospel of Christ: ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3‭-‬6‬ [3] He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. [4] Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

I've always loved Lacey ever since I first heard her singing All Around Me when she was still in Flyleaf. I was sad when she left but I understood why. But it makes me very happy that she's still creating and singing music and beautiful, emotional, and powerful music at that. Hands down, I love this song.🥰😍❤️❤️❤️

This song is hands down the best thing that's happened to me this year. After losing both of my son's last year, I was left with a hole torn through my soul that could never heal. The last 10-12 months has been spent broken to my core, losing myself in my grief and despair. I can maybe count on 1 hand the number of times in the last year I've felt happy, love or hope, and that's probably the 5 times I've listened to this song so far. Beautifully written, and even more beautifully depicted. This song gives me hope for my future, and gives me strength to keep fighting to hold onto the good things that I can, the ones that remind me why being alive is such a beautiful gift. This song will forever go down in infamy as one of the all time greatest!

The Bible is trustworthy, I can promise you that. I was an agnositc and found the truth in Christ, even when it called me to repentance and the letting go of self-destructive idols. We have solid Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament that show Jesus is exactly who He said He is. Isaiah 53 is one of my favorites. 💛 God bless you.

I usto listen to this song telling God to to take me away from the place I was living .I was living through Abuse from several family members who were not Christian the mental toll it took a lot trying of me trying to get out even though I was depressed.I have always suffered from long periods of depression but this was the longest.For long 7 years .This song brought so much comfort to me during these times because I felt Gods love and the way Lacey depicts the song made me relate to so many more other things that I could write about.Her song writing is just so beautiful 🙏✨🎀💓
