There is a (Plus) side to being a Master of what you do. You will always be Employed and pay Taxes to people who do not have a clue what when or why. (Don't get me started.) I've listened to a lot of music, and I have to say that IMHO, this is unique, _sui generis_ , bearing similarity to a number of things but comparable to none. It's got the flow and energy of a pop song, the soaring emotion of an aria, the deep movement of feeling of a violin solo, and the contemplation of traditional poetry. The video is its own art, telling its own story without words or gestures (if you're not sure, mute the sound and watch it again). If I may be excused for commenting on aesthetics (and even if not), there's something intangible about watching the two ladies perform; Lindsey's lithe and dexterous dancing/playing, and well-above-par face acting to boot, opposite Amy's performance as a full-figured and expressively passionate vocalist. It's like a vortex of juxtaposition I can't extricate myself from. Excellent performances and production, I love this every time I watch it. Thank you Amy and Lindsey.

Yes the lyrics are good, but it's not what this whole song is, like at all. Amy is amazing, always has been, but let's give credit where it's due also. Amy amazing voice and lyrics but that music perfectly working together is where it's really outstanding. They're both just a dream come true

listening music as i continue helping ppl in online games when suddenly a sound of familiar voice awakens nostalgia in my brains. with curiousity and ambition to find answer on that sudden curiousity which voice is it i switch tab to youtube when i discover my favorite singer from my teenage age sings in a song. in a split matter of seconds my heart is fullfilled with joy and happyness to see, to hear, to witness guyz AMY LEE IS STILL WITH US! and guess what? she still got it! what a voice, what a talent, what a legend!

You should have discovered her before 2018. Lindsey and Evanescence both toured the United States. I went to that concert in August. There's no possible way for me to forget that incredible magic on stage. It was truly amazing and will always stick with me.

Amy Lee is phenomenal, her voice is truly powerful and Lindsey Stirling is incredibly talented, this song is a masterpiece.

Really have to fight back the tears on this one. Pure art. God, it's so good to see Amy Lee in her element again, it almost hurts!! It also genuinely blows my mind that Lindsey can still move like that. Thank you both so much for everything you do. We love you to death!

When this song originally came out, just the song no vid, it was the same day my dad had passed away, it has a very special place in my heart for that reason. I found it so hard to go on with out him here but this song just struck a cord with me helped me so much. Perhaps the original song and its release timing was something "greater than chance". People have often described events happening at a loved ones time of death or shortly following it. (The spirit of one of my aunts visited my mother within the same hour of her passing). I personally believe that the departed are always with us because the people we become are results of the people we know, love, and interact with and a little "piece" of them is forever forged into ourselves. And I truly believe this because of my grandfather; a soldier, visited me during my time in the Army in three dreams, at times when a hurdle was about to present itself for me to clear (one of which was a promotion I had no idea was coming that I had a condition to achieve). He saved me from danger in said dreams and told me, "You're alright." I haven't encountered him again since I left active service. Remember, thank, and always love

I am so touched by your story. I lost my Dad 4 years ago and even now it's still so hard without him but there are days where I feel his presence very strongly. I actually talk to him more now than I did when he was alive. So when you miss him, talk to him and you'll feel his presence.
