The height comparison between Lacey and Ben Burnley in the video for Dear Agony (Aurora Version) is striking. Really well done collab on it as well.

My favorite thing about studio rock videos is the little pee dance. 🤣 Like. On stage, they can move around and actually do something with all that energy. But in a studio, they have to stay in that same spot and just... wiggle. It's hilarious and adorable and I love them.

Most Christian songs are about taking back power and love. This song is the cold hard truth that it’s not easy being a person of faith. (Any faith). It’s often about stumbling in the dark and only hoping to see the dawn. It’s very different from most Christian songs I’ve heard. Which focus more on the light part of things.

I've been a fan for a long time, so when I was listening to my local radio station and they mentioned Caleb Hyles as an artist spotlight, and played this song, I fangirled so hard! It's so good! So happy I heard it on the radio! It played on WQLZ in Springfield, Illinois

Htg, this song is amazing! Without saying too much, it’s been a rough year for me, and I can’t help but feel like I’m still just standing at the metaphorical horizon, watching and waiting for the sun to rise. But in spite of my best efforts, the darkness won’t go away. Don’t worry though; I’m in therapy. And this song puts words to what I feel in all the best ways. Thank you Caleb and Lacey for going hard enough to get me to pay attention and be present.

The dynamic subtitles effect overlaying you guys in the recording studio is really cool.

I’ve been on the search for more Christian music lately, it’s the only thing that’ll do for me anymore. I’ve known about Lacey and been a fan of hers for over 12yrs. I don’t know who Caleb is but I’m loving this sound!!! I’m about to dive in deeper and find out 🏊🏼‍♀️

This song reminded me of Saul/Paul. I had just read about his life's story and how he, despite his imprisonment and aged and broken body from all the flogging and whips, carried through his missions to spread the messages that Jesus shared. I venture to say his devotion rivals that of Peter's. He accepted his fate, knowing the outcome would outlive him and spread like wildfire.

I may not be a devout Christian but really the song can speak to anyone. For anyone that struggles with something it feels like they can't make it to the next day. And this song speaks to that.

Lacey!! She's one of my favorite singers ever. So underrated, glad to see her collab with some newer artists!

I'll be honest, I clicked on this expecting a catchy beat and some good singing just to pass the time. But, this was way beyond that; this is *fantastic.* It's so dramatic and makes me want to jump up and down singing it! And you guys captured the mood perfectly! I'm actually in the middle of writing a story about someone escaping from a nightmare by triggering the sunrise to break it, and this is *perfect,* this is exactly what I needed to get some more mojo for it! I mean, it's uncanny how perfect this is in literally every line--fighting fear, praying for change, even one of the singers is Lacey and my protagonist is named Lace!! It's like God made a little present and sent you the supernatural ability to make it into something amazing. Just fantastic.

I went on KZread to put a song that I like a lot (Tears Don't Fall - Bullet for my Valentine) but the ad for your song came up, I liked it so much that I came here And sorry for the bad English, I'm using Google translator, a hug from Brazil 🇧🇷

I completely understand. It's not easy. Jesus said we would be persecuted because the darkness hates the light. Take comfort in knowing that Jesus is victorious. Everything will be made right. Jesus will return and reign upon this earth, then we go on into eternity with Him. This is a short time and God will be glorified. Evil cannot defeat the goodness of Christ. It encourages me to look at the lives of the saints and martyrs throughout church history. God was with them and will be with us. I also get encouragement from the persecuted church worldwide. Richard Wurmbrand and Corrie ten Boom lived through horrific regimes, but shined like lights in the darkness. Never lose hope. Draw near to Jesus and dwell in His love, goodness, righteousness, peace, and joy. Try to share this with people. If they reject it, pray for them. Human rejection, cruelty, and hatred cannot extinguish the goodness of Christ. Many regimes have tried throughout history, and even today governments try to fight it, yet fail. The governments in North Korea, China, and Iran have tried to destroy the church, but the church grows under persecution. May God bless you, encourage you, and give you peace in this challenging time. May you always know the goodness of Jesus. May the Lord give you rest and protection as you seek His good will. 💛

I kept meaning to comment this, but I always listened to it on the phone, in my car, where I can't really comment. This song is everything I love about Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch, plus that signature Caleb energy that takes it up to 11. Beautiful song, and Lacey is an excellent co-star for it.

It is always darkest before dawn. Always a powerful statement, and one needed as a reminder for those (like me) that have gone through, and going through rather nasty bits of trauma. May God bless you and yours.

I’m an Atheist that grew up on Christian Pop/Rock music. One of my complaints on those genres of music (especially Christian Pop) was that every song sounded the same to me. But this? This is legitimately one of the best Christian Rock songs I have ever heard, and probably one of the first in a long time I will play on repeat. You’re a goddamn legend, Caleb. This song fuckin rocks!
