That feud for how little time it lasted packed a lot of story, intrigue, mystery, great back & forth acting, twist, and turns. Bray pushed LA further than anyone else will. LA had actual dialogue and was put into unique scenarios. Now its just mostly standard promos with catchphrases. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but other then the Bloodline feud it's the best one I've seen in a long time. It's WWE though so they figured out how to ruin it for Bray.

If the storyline is played straight that would be a hell of a build up into the Rumble. If WWE plays it right then that would have him firmly in the main event picture for 'Mania, and put a bit more shine on the IC title with it being held by a face.

True. At the same time he also never wanted anyone since those days to become bigger than the WWE. He wanted WWE to be bigger than any one star, and it became so very bland and boring because of it. Everyone talks the same, everyone has the same moves. It’s sad. No one calls out matches on the spot. If the crowd goes in reverse and boos the good guy and cheers the bad guy, they don’t change up how they wrestle and have the face wrestle like a heel or vice versa.

Having said that, can you imagine if the internet was as big as it is today in 1997 and doing "shoot" interviews? Back then, some guys still tried to preserve kayfabe. They didn't do something awesome on a wrestling show and then immediately tell everyone it was all scripted. We know that. But we don't need it reinforced to us constantly. It's like watching a great movie that isn't based in fact and then the director comes out in the theatre to tell everyone that it all never happened. us as wrestling fans need to do what we can to make sure this doesnt go away before he gets the chance to shine on a bigger stage. Granted, just politics wise and business wise he wont beat roman or win those titles, however he can be put in main event spots, he could beat Seth. THEN maybe, somewhere down the road he’ll beat whoever beats roman, but hes too hot right now to just fade away, of course vince is gonna try to job him into the ground but if he KEEPS getting babyface reactions no matter how hes booked they just WONT be able to deny it any longer.

Even though he richly deserves a push as a top guy, that glass ceiling in WWE ain't gone anywhere, and he'll never get what he deserves, much like Mr Kennedy, only this isn't LA Knight's fault whatsoever.

LA knight is two things to two different group of fans. For the older fans he is a rehash and an attitude era regurgitation. For the newer fans he’s original. All in all it’s the cycle of wrestling and getting over.

Don’t know what else they’re waiting for, this dude checks every box possible! I think that what frustrates me the most is, Wwe has done this to other talents that have organically gotten over with the audience, and then they just wait for it to eventually die down. So they can come back and say “see? That was just a short term pop that talent was getting. We were right not to push them“ when, in reality, that’s not the truth at all! What happens is the audience is smart. So they start to see that the company or the machine, is not going to push that talent that they really like and that they’re cheering so much for, so eventually they start to subside in cheering that talent because they know it’s not gonna go anywhere to where they want to see it go to. It’s very frustrating to watch as a fan! This dude is the real deal. I saw him when I went back to impact wrestling to wrestle one more match out of retirement so my son could see me wrestle live, and I remember watching Eli Drake, and as soon as he was finished, I walked up to him and I said “how the hell are you not mean eventing in WWE right now?“. He is so damn good all around. He does not have any weaknesses whatsoever. Also, when is the last time we’ve seen a wrestler that fans actually think is legitimately cool? I don’t mean an underdog in which are cheering for. I mean actually cool? Rock is the last one I remember thinking was cool. I also remember thinking Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in the beginning of NWO we’re cool as hell as well when I was in college watching every Monday night. This guy has that as well Imo.

I love LA Knight and think he should win belts soon. I don't care much for Roman Reigns all he does is cheat with the help of his family and others in the past. Yes I know the bad guys cheat but Roman cheats and gets help way to much. He makes Ric Flair look like a quire boy. To much cheating. Back to LA Knight he seems like a nice fun person in real life and I hope he stays that way but with some wrestlers in the past the second they get the gold they turn into jerks.

I first saw LA Knight in TNA when he was Eli Drake. I've been watching wrestling for 45 years, and I have to say, I thought the guy was great! I don't know why it took him so long to get to where he is at. His only weakness if you can call it that is his height, he's not very tall. but Brett, Shawn, and Eddie weren't very tall either, so that's not really an excuse! I would be very very pleased to see LA Knight dethrone Roman, but because of Cody, I would prefer to see Cody dethrone Roman and have his moment, and then have Cody give LA Knight the rub, much like what Hogan did with Ultimate Warrior.
