La Dualité de l’Équipes, Part I: Equipe Ligier

Спорт

France has an amazing racing culture. Legendary drivers and teams have been based out of there. But two Formula One teams have been based out of France, and had some semblance of staying power. This is the story of the more successful one of the two.

You are doing some outstanding work. I remember snippets of these stories from F1rejects, but never in this level of detail. Subscription added.

Excellent video! please do AGS... frenchier than all french teams put together... cars built in a shack under the cypres in provence, with spare parts from the defunct Renault team, and of course mandatory pastis and saucisson breaks... And YES, there will be owners in jail at one point!

I’ll keep this in mind for the future. I’ve got a lot in the pipeline for now, but I will certainly get to it.

They had Lamborghini engines in 1991, Renault from 1992-1994

I figured I had gotten that detail wrong, but didn't notice until I had already uploaded it. All the more incentive to re-release these videos a few years down the line, eh?
