Hi Mark. I just finished two Diy hamburg matten cornerfilters, following mostly your video, and it was such fun to see it working. I got my very first tank December last year, fell in love with Betta´s, and now I have three. And they each have their little nerite friend. I recently got some Armano shrimp, I thought they died, but now they have decided to show themselves, so at least some made it. I am 56, so I am a late starter with this hobby. I´m trying to find fish, that are somewhat easy to keep. I just want to tell you how much your channel is appreciated by newbees like me, so if you sometimes feel a little uninspired on what videos to do, please remember how you have inspired many "out here". And now I´m waiting for some Panda corys, when my tanks are ready. Can´t thank you enough, from Denmark.

Hi Mark. You should try to buy yourself a Marina Breeder box. That’s what I use for my baby Zebra fry if they get kicked out of the cave and I hatch the eggs in my Ziss egg tumbler. After the babies hatch in the Ziss Tumbler they get moved into the Marina Box until they’ve consumed all of their egg yolks. Once they’ve consumed their egg yolks and put on some size I’ll move them into the main tank with their parents. It’s critical to keep the Marina box totally clean cuz any detritus build up can find its way into their gills and it suffocates the fry. I lost 15 fry to detritus suffocation before I found out what was killing them. Cheers.

MARK'S AQUATICS Anytime mate. I found a fish store on the to my work so I will be looking in on it to see what they have. If they have better looking fish and shrimps I will get a tank going so it can mature before I get some. Also you should put a small piece of driftwood in with the baby even if it does still have a yoke sack. It will help it in the long run. Just make sure it is live not a piece that's not been out of water for a while.

It's very hard to sex zebra plecos but as adults the males get longer spines on there pectoral fins and on the gill covers. The females are shorter.

to stop the glare when using your camera, if its a camera ( not a phone ) get a stiff piece of black card and cut a hole to fit around the lens, snugly, if its a camera phone you will have to experiment depending on the phone
