Malik's Water Garden He is still deep in the cave so I’m assuming they are doing well. I haven’t shined the flashlight in there in a few days. Its so tempting but everyone tells me not to do it so I haven’t.

Which kind of stone you use for the long flat ones?
Where do you get the European brick style hotels in the tank behind you in this video?
@AquaMalik

I get them from flourish aquarium shop here in Toronto Canada! you can also find them on ebay from time to time!
Have you got to breed the L236 and the zebras in the same tank?? Can you keep adult ones together?? Have you got breed them like that?! Thanks
Where did you get that Ziss breeder/fry box?

angelfins.ca mate they are awesome! send them an email they are very helpful! cheers!
Thanks for the great video. Very informative considering a lot of people sell these but never provide actual and specific information on the water parameters. I'm now tempted to get some and run them around 83 degree water. Do you notice less activity with different lower water temps? My only complaint about this fish is like any typical exotic pleco is that they just hide and sit by their spot all day.
@AquaMalik
4 жыл бұрын
they do tend to be less active but there are things you can do to get them to feel more comfortable! you can keep them comfortably at about 80F ! ill try to cover more of these on the upcoming videos! cheers!

These fish come from the Rio Xingu and live in crevices 10-20m below the surface; they are shy, timid and nocturnal. They NEED water between 81-86F.
Hi Mr Malik, how do we train them to eat in the morning? as i understand that they are nocturnal. Thank you 😊
Do you sell the offspring of the exception L46 or do you already have some?

Hey Malik! I noticed that your zebra pleco tank has caridina shrimp. Have they adapted to tap water?
@AquaMalik
4 жыл бұрын
yeah mine breed in and live in Toronto tap water! I literally have thousands and no where to put them so yeah lol
I agree with you on everything you said, but that they are easy to breed😆🤔🐠🥚🥚
Hey Malik, how did you preserve the specimen? Did you just freeze them or did you fix them in formalin or something beforehand?
@AquaMalik
3 жыл бұрын
I don't have a lot of freezer space so I dry them and then bag them and label them! formalin would be probably a better option!
what type heater do you use to heat this tank/ thxs
@AquaMalik
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Doyle, I central heating (home heating) the entire room to 85F in the winter and right now during summer, I'm using central air conditioning to cool the entire fish room down to 82F which keeps these tank at around 83F give or take during the warmer months of the summer!
Hi Malik please could you list the food so I can try get them please. Great channel by the way. Keep up the good job bro.

Yes it works well actually
How good are those lemon tetras compared to other dither fish for H. zebra. Is it just aesthetic, or do they function better compared to rummynose and cardinals. I had rummynoses for a while, but as the tetras got mature, they started overpowering the zebs during feedings.
@AquaMalik
4 жыл бұрын
The lemons are just what I have right now .. any small tetra works the same way more or less and yes they can become more aggressive feeders as they get older. Cheers 🍻

Best to keep them alone; or with Cherry shrimp or some other shrimp. They DO NOT compete well for food. Also with dithers you risk disease.

i can see some Taiwan Bee Shrimp in tht tank with L046, what is the Tank Temperature you keep em at ? are the Taiwan Bee successful with Zebra ? plz reply
@AquaMalik
