Kurdishbestfood - Yaprax / Dolma spi

Ingredients: 🇬🇧
▫️1/2 kg meat for the bottom layer in the pot and for the stuffing mixed with the rice.
▫️1 minced bulb of garlic for the bottom layer on the pot and for the stuffing mixed with the rice.
▫️2-3 onions ( hollow out the inside)
▫️3 green pepper (hollow out the inside)
▫️1-2 courgette/ zucchini (hollow out the inside)
▫️1/2 k vine leaves
▫️2 Cups short grain rice
▫️1/2 cup of yoghurt ( home made yoghurt is used in this tutorial)
▫️Dill
▫️1 cup sumac juice ( sumac mixed with 1 cup of lukewarm water) you can also use 2 lemon juice instead of sumac.
▫️3-4 tbsp olive oil
▫️Approximately 1/2 L boiling water
▫️1 bag of (1 cup) Lima beans
▫️ 2 lemon
▫️vegetable stock or (cubes)
▫️Salt and black pepper
Preparation time: 1 hour
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Cooking;
▫️Step1: Cook fit 15 minutes on medium flame
▫️Step2: Put a plate on and add the sumac water, salt and olive oil. Cook for further 15 minutes on medium flame.
▫️Step3: Take the plate out and cook for the last 15 minutes on lowest flame.
Best served with tzatziki.🥒

    Grape leaves, you can buy it in supermarkets (those are the pickled ones) or the ones you pick from hand which you can also pickle at home or just cook them in boiling water until it gets soft to make it easy to stuff them. ❤️

    It's originally Greek and Ancient Persian. Kurds are an ethnic group from ancient Persia and have the same food as ancient Greece. From over 7,000 years ago. They both share similar food and even have similar names for them. Don't worry, no one is saying Dolma isn't Greek. Kurds, Persians, Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians, Arabs, Syriacs, and anyone else in that region share similar food from thousands of years ago. Kurds aren't like the Turks who try to steal everything and say it's theirs. Don't worry, friend.
