Kubota RTVXG850 Sport Roof Install. I no longer have this machine.

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Turns out this sidekick was a lemon. Bad Gas and water contamination of the crankcase oil. Recently Kubota has finally stepped up and replaced it.
This is a quick video showing how easy it is to install or remove a roof from my Kubota RTV. The roof finally showed up along with my new truck so I was able to pick it up. Just takes 2 minutes to install. These RTV-XG850s are great machines for larger yards.

The Kubota looks really nice with the new top. That will keep some of the hot sun off you as well.

So glad you're happy with Gizmo and the new roof. You sound better, hope you're on the way to a complete recovery. Can't wait for you and the Mrs. to start racing around the yard.

As much rain as we get here in the N.E. calls for a nice solid roof to help keep you dry. And it can be a huge relief to get out of the sun too. Uncanny how bird poop can hit a small target. They always pick the newest thing you own. LOL. (Bird seed is insanely expensive now.) The Kubuta will be more and more of a blessing. I love the black truck. We are colder most of the time with only a couple months of real heat. So black will be welcomed for most of the year there. I LOVE how sharp black paint looks when freshly washed and waxed. Brutal humidity here and too many mosquitoes so early. My peas are thriving. I got that B.C. variety you featured in one of your videos. Lilian's Caseload Sweet Pea. It is LOADED with pea pods. Really looks prolific. Not quite ready to harvest. Can't wait. My dogs help themselves to the asparagus every season and after that they wait at the pea barrels and beg for some pods. This will also be my first year growing the Ajvarski Sweet Pepper, thanks to you. (Jimmy Nardello is still a favorite for roasting.) Feel better.

For some reason we have more birds then normal this year and they are eating colorfull items. My lazy butt has really been enjoying the Kubota. It's a great little machine. I am starting to come around to the black and after polishing it up good it does look sharp. We have some mosquitoes but the deer flies are terrible right now. They don't give up bugging me until they take a bite. I should have a couple Lilian's peas should be ready next week. I only planted a couple this year and can't wait. I have some small Ajvarski's on the plants and a bunch of sausages in the freezer 😋. Looks like a cooler summer this year. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for watching.

Did you get the Subaru for your wife? Yeah the truck finally showed up at my dealer. 8 weeks later then promised by Ford. Uploading a quick video about it now. It's a nice little truck that should be able to do everything I need it for. Sure was tough being without a truck for a couple months. Thanks for watching.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 crosstreks and foresters have anywhere from 3k- $6,000 markup for AMV right now. So maybe I'll buy myself an outback. Lol

The outbacks are nice and have the big screen with a turbo engine. We didn't like the seating position or visibility though. Find a dealer with demo vehicles you can test drive to see what's best for her. I think you're going to have to wait for the 23 models at this point and a recession will definitely drop prices.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 yes, if I get the Outback I will wait for the 23 model. They made several improvements, especially on the eyesight system. I don't mind the Crosstrek or the forester, however I think they are a little underpowered, especially the Forester touring. They need to bring the turbo back on the Forester model. I prefer the Outback over the forester from the simple reason that it has a few extra features that I like, I can't live without cooling seats anymore.

Our forester Touring has plenty of power for us. We have the improved eyesight system and it's awesome. The forester will almost drive itself. The forester seating position is good for older people like us and the Outback is more car like and preferred by youngsters like you. The Silverado had cooled seats and we never used them but the heated seats got a good workout. Ours is up to almost 31 mpg for our local running around. Drive them all and look for an honest dealer without the mark ups.

Happy you have the roof for the Kubota. The garden work should be when your not working in the heat of the day. you had a virus that weakened you so the sun and heat will more easily effect you. The truck looks like a nice ride. I hope it lives up to what you were expecting. Take care and enjoy the simple things in life.

Kubota. I would suggest you avoid these Sidekicks because they use defective Subaru engines. Mine and others have the serious crankcase contamination with gas problem. Thanks for watching.
