Mounting A KFI Plow on Gizmo 850. I no longer have this machine.

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Turns out this sidekick was a lemon. Bad Gas and water contamination of the crankcase oil. Recently Kubota has finally stepped up and replaced it.
First off I would look at different brands if buying a side by side. My Kubota has serious problems. Finally put the plow Gizmo. Went with a 72 inch KFI poly plow kit from amazon and it looks like a great match. Now to get the heater mounted.
This is the kit I bought amzn.to/3TW1mLL
This is the snatch block I modified amzn.to/3D3lpRw
This is one of the KFI pulleys that should work if you want bolt on amzn.to/3Duoo74

They make it stand out in a crowd. I put a link when I first added them and I can't believe how many bought them. The sticks is the safest location to live in these days. Thanks for watching.

I plow with a Gator 825i and a hydraulic 72 " plow. Once you plow with a side by side, you never want to go back to anything else. Nice job. I'm always a little in awe of all of your talents.

It should work good for small storms but I doubt it will handle the lake snow drifts. We will see. I'm just learning on the job. Thanks for watching.

If you've got any neighbors close by they may be calling you when the snow flies! That heater will make a world of difference too, won't be freezing your rear off out in the cold weather.

This should be good for little storms that don't drift up. I am hoping to get the heater in there soon and have ordered some plastic for a rear window. Still trying to figure out doors because Kubota wants almost 5k with tax for a factory set. Winter is right around the corner. Thanks for watching.

Nice add-on. When I added a plow to My 03 Polaris 700, I built a dedicated "lift Winch" it only has 6' of 2" ratchet Strap webbing on the Drum, and it pick's the Plow Frame straight up. No pulleys . I can use Winches on either end of the ATV. So all I do is put the Lift winch on and plug it in. When one is stuck it is best practice to pull Your self out the way it went in. Thus the Winch at the Back. The rear Mount is also where I put the Hydraulic pump for the Blade angle Cylinders. Built all of that back in 2004 and still works good today. It even has a limit switch for the UP, to keep the plow Frame from bottoming out on the underside of the ATV. Mike M.

That is a good idea.. I have been thinking a gear motor and chain drive for angling If I feel it is needed. This is just for small cleanups and the tractor will handle the heavy stuff we get off the lake. Thanks for watching.

Ed, I see you have a fully stocked 2nd Amendment rack in the back. It snowed about 50 miles from here last week and we got our first killing frost. So winter is definitely right around the corner.

It's just a pellet gun for woodchucks. 1300 fps .22 caliber that I got when the price of 22 ammo spiked. The woodchucks climb over the woodpile and get in the garden looking for a helping of lead to wash down the veggies. There was some snow south of here a week ago and now we are in the 70s again. They say we can get a lot this year. Thanks for watching.

Howcome you decided to go with a diesel heater instead of a Traditional radiator style cab heater running off your engine coolant? Iv always had the same idea with the diesel heater to run it from the diesel fuel on my tractor for cab heat but I was only gonna do it cuz I thought it would be a fun project. Curious to hear why you are doing it?

For a fun project. Vevor contacted me with a list of items to see if I was interested in any. I saw the heater and always wanted to see how they work. I think the Kubota version using the cooling water is over $1200 by the time you buy all the components. 8kw should keep it warm. Thanks for watching.
