Thank you, that saved me a call to the local engineers. It was the HST pedal switch on ours. I love that they put it just where all the mud flings up from the back wheel.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. This is a good and worthwhile video if you’re having crazy intermittent starting issues that are related to switches not functioning. I have a Kubota GR2110 and the thing has been driving me crazy. I can tell it’s in the safety switches somewhere because when everything is satisfied it starts right up and stays running. Now I know where to start poking around. Thanks again!!

I agree! Glad you got going. The military has a switch that will do this for combat situations. I our generation of equipment is in the "growing pains" phase of all this type of stuff and down the road it will be much better, similar to how the first power windows & things were terrible. Could be just my optimism! Thanks for watching, it helps support my channel so I can make other helpful videos. Getting the feedback & know it has helped someone makes my day!!

Wanted to thank you for posting and leaving this video up. I have been struggling with a BX2200 not starting for several days and from your video I was able to figure out the PTO safety switch was just barley engaged. I lubed the PTO shaft and I noticed the safety plunger wasn't moving when it came in contact the metal tab on the shaft. I lubricated the plunder and worked the PTO shaft back and forth several times and I noticed the plunger was sitting up higher than before. I tried to start the tractor and it started right up so thank you very much! You saved me several hundred dollars the Kubota dealer would have charged. Thanks again Ron

Safety switch probably came loose and just need adjustment. Quick and easy. If your glow plugs are not working at times, you may have a ground issue from the key switch. Maybe why you have the start issues at times at well. Last thing could be sticking relays. Just a guess.

  • @CallMeColtLLC

    Жыл бұрын

Yes. You would need to see if the switch is normally and open or closed switch. Then simply connect the wires together if it is a closed switch when being pressed, or disconnected and remove the switch. But honestly, if you just make sure they are tight and adjust once, they will be good for a very long time. I have put over 600 hours on my tractor since I made this video and have not had one issue since.

@@CallMeColtLLC similar to you I bought a BX2350 with about 500 hours. I put about 50 hours on it and then started having similar issue. I've found that the PTO switch is actually disconnected and taped over (apparently for quite some time) and the seat up sensor at the front left of the seat isn't even being engaged by anything. I think my culprit is the neutral switch that you mentioned is so hard to get to because when I wiggled it a bit the tractor actually tried to start finally. Problem though is that switch was so fragile and brittle it broke.
