KT Tape: Neck Shoulder Pain

NEW updated video instructions available here: • KT Tape - Neck & Shoul...
Neck and Shoulder pain is caused by abnormalities in the bone or joints, trauma, poor posture, degenerative diseases, muscle strain or overuse, and tumors.
Tendonitis and strains from overuse are common sources of neck and shoulder pain. Activities requiring intense concentration and limited body movement create stress that contributes to muscle pain in the neck and shoulder. Long drives, computer work, and similar activities often contribute to neck and shoulder pain.
KT Tape is helpful in reliving neck and shoulder pain by providing support to the neck and shoulder muscles spreading the stress across a wider range of muscles. Bio feedback contributes to better posture which eases stress on the neck and shoulder. KT Tape increases the range of motion when recovering from inflammation and injury.

    Rest all body parts You can do but on back, it's Hard or almost impossible to do this to yourself correctly... it's like scratching or massaging back with our own hands lol... even if u r flexible enough to take ur hands fully at back , still u can't see what u r doing there. So definitely you'll need to ask someone to do it for u to apply properly and correctly.

    have just started using tape after running a few 1/2 marathons and an avid weekend warrior, after three years of foot pain on top of foot, one application helped the problem and the instructional videos are nicely thought out(can only do some of the back areas alone), it would be nice to see some evidence, yet I don't have to read a book to tell me why I have to blow my nose when I get a cold...

    that's true, but why do we have Trps? Usually because our muscles are working so hard because they are not in proper alignment. The purpose of the tape is to assist in proper alignment. Trps will keep coming back if you don't treat the cause.

    Why did you ask her to adduct her blade. Is the muscle not supposed to be on fully stretch if possible in which it wouldve been better to ask her to abduct the blades instead and then put the tape on?? Jus curious, thnaks

    KoriMasho -- I'm a physical therapist with my doctorate, and I can tell you you're wrong. There are several causes of neck & shoulder pain, and KT tape or kinesiotape in general works using proprioceptive feedback and inhibiting pain pathways to allow the muscles to work in proper alignment.

    WHY using different colors of tap ??

  • @KTTapevideos

    @KTTapevideos

    6 жыл бұрын

    We simply use different colors of tape in many of our videos so that you can more easily see where to place each strip of tape. If we used all the same color it might be confusing where the tape goes when you see multiple strips of tape in an application.

  • @callieaa

    @callieaa

    Жыл бұрын

    i don’t know if this is what you’re asking, but the “anchor” is a technique where you take off the backing on the end part of the tape and lay it with no tension, then go from there. hope this helps

  • @j-dub8399

    @@callieaa that is super helpful! Thank you! I was interpreting “anchor” as a different texture or setup of the k-tape with predetermined intervals that would prevent the split.

    Agreed, but quickly remind me how you apply it with the shirt on? Dumbass,You realize this tape is made for adhesion to skin? I've taken a shower, washed my back, etc, and it still stayed on. OH, and it's intended for continuous use, pretty much as long as it will stay on. Now I don't know if the location and tension applied is wrong here, my tape was applied much differently by the physical therapist but it sure as hell wasn't on the back of my T Shirt. You're a fucking idiot. Or a troll in(in that case, well done, I'm thoroughly excited. but I'm also cross-faded[not MJ]so, you don't get full credit)....Note: if it is a trolling attempt, it's in very poor taste as chronic neck pain won't go away with TIME, unless you have your brain removed, and suspect you have. Go troll people on videos of a dead genre, sounds like your niche, fuckface

Or at least have this girl wearing a strapless top. I'm sure she has her front covered, but perverts are gonna perve.
