    She is one of those people to whom humor comes so naturally, you can just look at her and immediately start laughing. I miss seeing her regularly. That send off was a tear jerker

    I like all of them individually, but their actual era of SNL is mostly god awful. 90% of her, Forte, Bill, and Samberg's sketches were a character talking with a "wacky", annoying voice. The show got better almost instantaneously around season 39, when they were gone.

    @@handsomejonny6211 I'm not sure why you would think that. Kate was brought in because they knew Kristen would be leaving. They were in a bunch of sketches together and then worked together whenever Kristen hosted. They co-starred in that Ghostbusters movie, and most recently, Kristen dropped by to do a sketch with Kate when the latter hosted at the end of last year.

    I rewatch that sendoff every once in a while because it’s so beautiful to see someone embraced in that way. So moving I remember Ruby Tuesday but I also remember “she’s a Rainbow” not sure if that’s part of that song or a different song she comes in colors… She’s like a rainbow

    Idk if it counts as a send off per say, but the sketch where norm, Kevin, Chris, Adam, etc jump into the bear enclosure, that was their last sketch. Also, Fred, bill and Jason’s bizarros song was their send off I’m pretty sure.

    See I keep seeing all these comments about Conan talking too much during interviews. But I just don’t think so at all. Cause also they aren’t interviews. They’re having conversations. He has had some amazing conversations with his guests. I like that he gets personal and shares about himself too. But maybe that’s just me 🤷‍♀️

    it depends. He often starts a bit while a guest is talking that detracts whatever they were trying to say. And interrupting conversations is annoying regardless if it's an interview or not

    There has never been a more beautiful comedienne. She could've been a model as much as anything else. But, thank god, she used her mind to bring us the AMAZING comedy that she has. Her physical comedy is better than anyone who ever existed. Funniest woman on earth---probably top 3 funniest humans on earth.

    I always think of her as Dr. Pat from The Joe Schmo Show, from even before SNL. She was the best thing on that hilarious fake reality show. Just based on that performance, I thought she was capable of more and she more than proved me right.

    Because they largely are not transactional. The guest may be pushing a new book or movie, but Conan's whole goal for the show is to just have informal conversations and have fun.

    @@patreekotime4578 I mean you're right but I don't know I still prefer funny episodes like Kevin Nealon's, Bill Burr, Flula, and many more, I don't think they were necessarily playing funny characters but they were good at improv or just naturally funny I think why Jordan Peele was serious and boring because he acted his Director persona. Not saying that he should act what I wanted but I'm just sharing my reaction when I watched that episode.

    She's hands down one of the most funniest women in the business. I will watch anything she's in. Her performance was the best part of Zoolander 2 and I wish there were more scenes with her. Her chemistry with Maya Rudolph is at the same level of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. She can't do wrong in my book, although the Wonder Woman part wasn't her best choice imho.

    I found the send-off to be slightly nauseating. Wiig was one of the most talented people to be on the show, but that doesn't mean she needs to be treated like a deity. It makes me appreciate those that just up and leave without any drawn out self-congratulatory announcement.

    And yet every time a former SNL cast member talks candidly about their time on SNL they say that it was the most cut throat, toxic environment, cast members apparently steal each other's ideas, it's worse than your average corporate job in terms of politics and behavior. I don't think her experience or more accurately her depiction of it really represents SNL.

    I personally don't like SNL - because it's really bad humor especially when they constantly read lines off cue cards and brake character. However Kristen Wiig is definitely the BEST there ever was and out ranks all of her peers.
