Did you know Kristen Wiig is a Certified Piano Tuner? She was one semester away from earning her bachelor degree in Applied Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music when she quit and moved to L.A. to pursue a career in comedy. One of her odd jobs was tuning pianos (which in the 90s paid about $50 per piano).

For some reason I'm reminded of the scene in Groundhog day where Bill Murray visits the piano teacher and he's playing pretty well and she confirms "And you say this is your first piano lesson?" to which he replies "Yes, but my father was a piano mover, so..."

I went to a Music, Arts, & Theater camp in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio in the late 1960s. I was already making art,...and had attended other programs, during the school year, after going to my daytime school classes. It was a great camp for kids not into sports. I could have sampled the acting classes, but instead I focused on Arts & Crafts. We were provided top notch instruction, and access to more sophisticated arts materials. We did hot glass enamel, hammered copper & aluminum, clay slab building,...wood working, linoleum cut & wood cut printing. We visited museums, and practiced various drawing techniques. My friends who were already learning to play orchestral instruments, got more experience. I knew a few kids who were getting theatrical experience, and the whole class put on a play, for the rest of the kids. It was a blended age camp,....kids were in the 7th, 8th & 9th grades. I wish I had been encouraged to take the acting classes.

Conan talks about himself ALL THE TIME. He is barely letting his guest talk and express themselfs. Barely! Every time his guests start talking about something he interrupts them only to dive into his own stories and opinions about the subject and the people who he invited just stand there as listeners. Maybe watch the other Kristen Wiig clips they uploaded. She is incredibly boring as a guest so he's just making sure theres no dead air lol. Watch the one where he compliments her on her SNL characters, all she says is "thanks" and they have to cut the convo/clip because she doesn't continue the show along with jokes or anything else. Even this clip is boring as hell, I love her but she is an absolute snoozefest of a comedien during interviews. Watch him interview people like Harrison Ford and you can see you're totally wrong. That guy goes on long tangents and all Connan does is listen intently. Other examples would be the Biden interview or Jordan Peele interview.
