Kris Vallotton - The Day of Judgment

Kris distinguishes between the difference between the "last days" and the "day of judgment."
"Isn't that funny? Jesus wasn't sent into the world to judge the world, so why are you?"
"You don't live in the 'last day', you live in the 'last days'."
"We have the ministry of reconciliation, we don't have the ministry of judgment"
"Jesus did not come to proclaim vengeance."
"When you start judging the people you're supposed to be preserving you've lost your flavor."

Thank you for this video. I'm a little confused as to what is prompting the emphasis regarding judging, for us as ministers as reconciliation. Some specific examples of what brothers & sisters may or may not be doing when sharing the Gospel (re: the sermon's exhortation) might help me better understand why there seems to be concern.

Not sure how that is funny. I agree with what he says. He knows the scripture. From memory. I am proud to see his boldness. Have you ever been to Bethel? Have you ever heard Kris teach? I have heard him. He has an anointing. The holy spirit is in him. House divided against itself can not stand. I am quick to listen, slow to speak. Matthew 7 is clear on this.

the speaker keeps saying that we are not to judge the world. But he never explains what he means by judge. Surely he does not mean that we are to avoid talking about sin? Jesus preached repentance. Peter and Paul preached repentance. This age is the age of turning from sin to avoid the wrath to come in the Great Day. If you avoid telling people about sin and judgment, you are NOT preparing them for the Great Day and you are NOT really acting as a minister of reconciliation.
