Perfect video, no long-winded intro. You provided a diagram, then you illustrated how to build it. And it's uncomplicated and efficient. Thank's.

I read the title and thought "who needs a holder for the paper from their Mac and Cheese?" Glad I watched so as to clear things up :)

Love watching your videos, had a bit of bad luck this year. Not able to build much right now. Rebuilding house and shop in the spring. Looking forward to building some of the jigs you posted. Great ideas and the ones I had from you worked fantastic. Keep up the good work!!

I think, once I can (afford to), and get around to it, I'll be building a workbench, or assembly table, or both....I will definitely incorporate a Kraft Paper roll onto it, or them ;-) #KeepTheChipsFlying!
Nice, simple, tidy and convenient. I like it :)

Are you using the kraft paper for just surface protection? That setup would also make it handy for patterning purposes as well.

I like it Nick! I did one on my Jay Bates/Paulk work bench this past spring. The paper comes in handy. BTW what countersink bits are you using? They look tapered. - Rod
@NickFerry

awesome - comes in handy for sure - the bits are tapered, I have a link to them in the article here - nickferry.com/2016/12/kraft-paper-holder-for-a-workbench-ep77/

May I ask what you guys in North America pay for a roll of that Kraft paper? I am thinking by the way it is being used that it is a LOT cheaper than it is here in Australia (but what isn't?) - just curious - and can you tell me the dimensions of that roll please? (so I can compare apples with apples (or at least Granny Smiths with Red Delicious...).

Looks like the 30 inch by 100 foot roll so about $20 USD on Amazon
@rudyardkipling7181
7 жыл бұрын
LP81 Thanks for that, but it's led me down a rabbit hole, there is something wrong because I can get that at about 1/3 of the price (albeit by buying 1000 ft which is the minimum I can get) - I went to Amazon and they said it was 40# and 4" but at that weight I calculate only 2" - so I am thinking that is 90#. Any thoughts?
@jadudley99
7 жыл бұрын
I ordered a roll of 30# weight paper from Home Depot. It is 24 in x 1200 ft., at a cost of $26 plus sales tax, making it $28.15 total. The 36 in wide roll, also in 30# weight and 1200 ft long, is $40.25 plus tax. I have it shipped to their store, so shipping is free.
Simple as f...k :P

Was that Red paint on the Assembly table or evidence of a war wound??? :D. I don't consider it a finished product unless there is a little red on it somewhere (just kidding). Thanks for the show.
