Man,..... if I ever felt like a novice,.... I have now discovered yet a whole new low,...... brilliantly explained,... usually I top off at 8 minutes..... I felt I learned a lot and now I am planning new tools for my ever evolving “humble little shop”...

The plans along with the video are spot on. It’s so good I built two of them. One for my Wen drill press and another for my Wen band saw. The drawer storage is worth the build alone. Great job Brad, and thanks for the easy to follow plans!

Brad, I just build the drill press stand from your plans. Normally, I would have designed my own - but I was really interested in just getting this project done quickly. The plans were easy to follow and I think it came out great! The storage in it is fantastic and that's the main reason I decided to build it. Thanks for sharing!

The drawer handles you link in the instructions came with 1" bolts. Can't work with 3/4" drawer and 3/4" false drawer front. Had to find #8-32 x 2" bolts at an old time hardware store. Alternative is to drill ~7/8" deep counterbore for bolt head, inside the drawers, which would be a pain. Your tip on cabinet drawer slide spacing is great! Worked like a charm.

The top drawer in the video is the same as the three below but the plans call for a smaller height drawer. The face place is the same as the others though. The video looks like the top 3 are all the same size.

Just used your video/plans to build one of my own. Made some modifications for the space, my size (I’m petite), and using the materials on hand. She is already a huge asset in my shop and I don’t know what I did before I built her. Truly inspiring work you’re doing here! I share your video all over the FB group I posted pics on.

I did use a 1/8" round over bit on the drawer faces to clean up my ragged cuts. :) Still learning my table saw. (No Band Saw or Miter Saw at this time) I am thinking about doing that to the top of edges of the drawers too. Next build, your Lathe Cabinet. :)

This was amazing! I watched it about 50 times, and bought the plans. Did this project last weekend and it turned out great. Took me a day and a half, but I was ripping plywood with a level and a circular saw. First time doing a project with drawers and slides so I watched your other videos about making drawers and doing slides. Ran into some issues but got it all figured out. Did Maple pure bond with Gloss oil poly and it looks amazing. Now that I have drawers figured out I’m making some nightstands this weekend! Thank you! I may have watched all your videos now. Good stuff for beginners! Now to buy a drill press 😂

I had never built anything with drawers before, but I was able to complete this and it looks great. I will be mounting a very heavy 12 inch Disk sander on top and plan to keep all my sander related supplies including my two palm sanders. I have since downloaded a couple of your other plans, I look forward to my next project with the rotating top allowing for you to use two different tools on one cart. Thanks again for a job well done. Regards.

I loved your video on how to build a Drill Cabinet. Liked the way you put it together and explained everything. Unlike some who have KZread DIY programs, you didn't come across like a smart alec or know it all. You were very down to earth and I know you can teach this old dog some new tricks. I've been woodworking since I was in my 20's and now will soon be 67. I've seen and heard a lot about woodworking but I just can't seem to get that knowledge to go from my brain to my hands. Made be you have a magic wand that can do that! ROFL!! :D

I'm always amazed at how a thin piece of wood is able to prevent something from racking...especially on the large IKEA dresser I put in our nursery...sadly, I didn't have enough time to build one. Also, do you think something like this would be sturdy enough for a planer? Maybe a little bit wider?

Awesome build video. I was muchly impressed with the number of tips. tricks, and cheats you used, AND explained in detail. The info for using spacers in your drawer slide assembly was worth the price of admission right there. The one thing I saw though that was MOST impressive is your use of your saws guard on every cut you made. I'd likely be preaching to the choir here saying this simple act puts you head and shoulders above ALL the other idiots online, by showing noobs, and even "seasoned pro's" how you can use a guard, and still somehow manage to make square, precise cuts. Until this point I was certain all the people using the hot dog cutting saw used the wiener saver device as their only safety feature. Made my heart glad to see someone with a brain doing vids on KZread.

Still in process of completing. Just installed drawers. In my case they all open and close nicely. However, four of them starting from the bottom don't close flush with the cabinet. I think I need to remove the slides from the cabinet and use the adjustment tabs. The result I'm hoping for is that when the drawer is placed back into the cabinet it will now be flush with both drawer glides. Then I can attach the drawer box to the slides (i.e. no gaps between drawer box and glides). Would this be your recommendation. (note: it's my first time building and installing drawers). Thanks. Your plans and video are great. I'm not an expert (yet) but I think certainly past the newbie stage.

Thanks for the great video, Brad. I'm 5'8" and I'm wondering if I'll need to adjust the height of the stand so my drill press is at a comfortable height. If you don't mind my asking, how tall are you?

I actually used the bottom half of a Craftsman mobile tool cart for my drill press stand. I was able to take a couple scrap pieces of ⅝" plywood and make the top and bolt the drill press to it and then bolt the top to the cart.

Hey Brad, Great project, awesome job. love that it has plenty of space for accessories. On your website, not sure if your aware, when directed to download the plans, a prompt comes up- Sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn't exist. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue? It does seem to work if you go through the shop tab and click on downloadable plans.

Awesome build, Brad! At the end of the video when you were loading up the cabinet you added a large set of twist drill bits to the top drawer. I'm in need of a decent quality set and I'm hoping you may have a link to the ones you use. Thanks again for the excellent videos!

Great project, Brad!! Man, I need a drill press with more capacity than my little 8" bench top drill press... Drill press table and fence next? :)

I am just starting out, thanks to you actually. I stumbled upon your hidden drawer night stand and I haven't stop watching since then :D I never thought about woodworking and you made it look and feel very appealing! I am wondering, if it would be possible to attach this top by the wood banding directly. To say make it flush without the overhang..
