In terms of nationality, Yunjin is fully american. Korea is very strict about dual citizenship. If you have dual citizenship, you have to use a Korean passport in Korea, but Yunjin used a U.S. passport. That means yunjin does not have Korean citizenship

I think we've gotten used to it but it's actually insane what an achievement fatou has made by debuting as a kpop idol and it will probably go down in kpop history

Ningning used to have the "Asian American" makeup style that's very smoky and intense. She looks younger and fresher with the Kpop makeup. But I think she looks the best when she's performing in China. She's Chinese and the Chinese makeup style suits her soooooooo much.

It’s the mentality in most of Korea. Even if they’re ethnically 100% Korean, being born/raised in another country for a majority of their formative years makes them inferior to Koreans born and raised in Korea.

Ningning is my favourite foreign kpop idol shes so fricken beautiful and glowing too more nd more and just her stage presence is game she looks like a princess too ! also love FELIX.he looks straight out of an anime comic book like the handsome prince but than his voice is unmatched when he sings.also when he preforms .but than im also a fan of natty shes so cool and hip and an amazing dancer like her vibe too overall and so gorgeous too. mark and huhyunjin and shotaro i like the way the preform too stage presence is FIRE!

Ning was already so prertt when she was young, during pre debut but she got prettier now that all her baby fat is gone, she turned into a fine lady❤

If you noticed now Felix freckles have become very accepted to the point I see other idols have foe freckles on their photo shoots and performances . Felix is incredible a powerhouse of talent and I’m glad he’s doing so well . Ambassador of Louis Vuitton , highest miv , man of the year , and I can’t wait what we will see for 2024

Felix felt very out of place in the early days for his freckles, since they went against the beauty standard of perfect skin, and he used to hide them a lot. I'm glad they are now being seen as one of his charm points even in Korea :)

I agree about the part 2 but while NCT has many foreign idols they can feature Jaehyun isn't one of them (he lived in America for 4 years but he's korean). They can instead feature Johnny (American), Yuta (Japanese), Kun (Chinese), Ten (Thai), Winwin (Chinese), Xiaojun (Chinese), Hendery (from Macau), Renjun (Chinese but I believe ethnically Korean), Yangyang (Taiwanese), Chenle (Chinese). They also have some japanese members in the new team. Basically one whole video can be dedicated to NCT lol (really hope they do it)

1:59 Fatou isn't the first black Kpop idol, she's the first African one though. I believe the producers explained it correctly, but she misinterpreted it. There was Alex (?) from Americaa in Rainia, and way before that there was Mike in Roo'Ra, I think he was from America too. 2:51 "Japanese members look Japanese" I feel like I've gained great wisdom. 5:08 girl on the left saying Felix was born to Asian parents, they're Korean. She seems to simultaneously know a lot about Kpop, but gets details mixed up, like with Fatou. I guess technically she's not wrong, he WAS born to Asian parents, but....you know.

Mark, Natty, Joshua, Yunjin, Mark, Ningning, Minnie and Rei are my faves shown in this video. Somi, Jaehyun, Jun, Shuhua and Yuqi are a few others that I love that weren’t mentioned here.
