It’s important to note that the clips are purely satirical in nature and are meant portray exaggerated representations of the “Hood” for comedic purposes.

@@Dogemayo All the videos they’re watching are very stereotypical in my opinion. During Black HISTORY month I would assume that it’s the time where we would want to educate non-black people about black HISTORY and not all this stereotypical mess. Now don’t misunderstand me it’s not like I’m mad at them or anything but I feel like instead of watching those types of videos they should be learning about the HISTORY of black folks.

@@nenec143 I am not sure if they celebrate black history month in Korea but I do agree it would be nice to see some reactions on Black history or current Black content this month hopefully if they don't know about it they will see the comments but I don't think its bad to enjoy comedy from time to time. I do agree the videos are stereotypical but they are just using the ridiculous notions to evoke laughter. Comedy is always exaggerated and full of satire so I don't think they are all gullible to believe what they see here. But I do get what you are saying and why some are not too fond of them reacting to these. I wonder if they are interested in doing some movie reactions I would love to see what they would think about the 1997 Cinderella movie I loved it so much when I was little. My mom and dad would hit us with a slipper if we did 😂 2. PDNIm--- that Cool Runnings clip 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 - that was one of my favorite movies when i was younger! 3. The guy doing the studio music is really funny. He does a lot of videos of nonsensical lyrics to hip hop music too, but only people that listen to all genres would probably get it. 4. Koreans often think that Americans are hardened and open-minded, but this is one of the most sensitive and socially soft comment sections I've ever seen over comedy; I mean look at all the disclaimers and Obsession of upholding social justice, you guys act like it's racist to even react to these videos or that the women are the ones perpetuating stereotypes when it's clearly the people in the videos. Don't fault them for reacting to what they plainly see and having a harmlessly good time and they're not even being judgemental.

Not even one day into black history month. But not surprising from OSSC, ATP I think they understand why things like this are problematic but just post it for the views. And if thats not the case, they need to stop showing them shit they don't even know anything about. ZERO RACIAL/SOCiAL AWARENESS and they don't give a damn.
@alyssakordae
4 ай бұрын
To clarify, these "memes" they've picked up from across the internet are mostly perpetuations of stereotypes as any black person or even american could understand are harmful. The OSSC producers are so obviously ignorant and can't provide any type of true context for whatever "humor" is being displayed in the short. So why do they continue to do it? Why do they continue to do "Koreans react to black people blah blah blah" and its always the bottom of the barrel content from sell out black creators or memes from black pop culture that just dont translate.
