J Barrier G.Rap didn't drop his first single until 86 and his first album came out in 89. Schooly D dropped Psk in 85. Ice-T dropped 6 In the Morning as a single in 85. Just Ice dropped full albums in 86 & 87. Just Ice used to refer to himself as The Original Gangster of rap! They were ALL before G Rap.

Only Ice T talked about gangsta life, G Rap laid it down for the East Coast with that Mobsta gangsta shit. Schooly's flow was used by Ice T and NWA but in reality Schooly was more about the streets/guter than the life of a gangsta. His songs have more to do with smoking crack and shooting hookers than moving weight. Just Ice was the gangsta of rap but he was just talking about being hardcore. He didn't spit lyrics about moving weight and ducking feds.
