This is the first time I've seen the teeth of the file used as the grip/handle. Beautiful and practical at the same time. Brilliant!
Absolute master at this . The lines on that knife are sublime

The most beautiful file knife I've ever seen
Koss, you were one of the people who helped me get into making knives, and eventually to start my own knifemaking channel on KZread! So big thank you, and I always love seeing your work. Keep it up

I would love to start making them, how can I start? What do you recommend?

@@amtvcl I recommend you watch as many of kisses videos as you can, as well as green beetle red beard ops, dies in every film customs, and any other videos you find. They don't have to be tutorials, just observe. Then I would grab as many tools as you have and see if you can replicate what they've done with your own tools. On my channel I use a lot of common tools, so maybe check it out. And don't be in a hurry, getting as good as koss takes years, im 2 or 3 years in and I'm still getting the basics down
One of the best looking file knives I've seen.
Kawał ładnego noża. Podoba mi się.
That right there is one B E A U T I F U L knife ( best use for a file I ever saw other than it's original intended purpose ) !!!!
while every knifemaker is using that texture on the blade, you managed to keep it on the tang for a reason. I love your critical thinking.
That is one of the coolest knifes I’ve ever seen. Brilliant. 😍
love it, and this has convinced me that I can use thicker steel for knives. Im a welder and amateur knife maker but the thinnest metal I can usually get is 1/4 inch steel but man that blade looks amazing with that thickness
I like that the files that he uses to file the file into a knife will inevitably be turned into a file knife lol
OMG a knifemaker sharpens his knifes correctly on KZread! WOW!
Keeping the file surface, for the grip, is a nice touch. Great idea.
Absolutely fantastic. Love the handle
Best I've seen. Nice work.
Such a cool take on a knife from a file. Great job!
Oh my! That is absolutely beautiful work!
I love the shape of this one from tip to butt. Very Classy the way you blended the choil, ricasso and bolster! Looks well balanced too. Thanks Koss for another fabulous build! Happy Holidays!!!
Most unreal blacksmith work,no blacksmith tools but engineering workshop machinery.
Now you have a knife and a file all in one!
A beautiful knife again. Like the shape. Great work!
Reminds me of the big knife Jimmy Diresta made. Using the file texture on the handle is such a great way to keep and add the style. Looks so rugged and functional. Definitely appeals to the manly man and mechanical/machine style. Love Jimmy’s knife and I love yours. Like many comments say, your lines/design are amazing. A knife company commissioning a design from you makes perfect sense to me.
Gorgeous knife. What a great idea !
Beautiful work
Beautiful shape. Very elegant.
Perfect knife, great knife 🗡️
Wow, I wish it only took me 8 minutes and 4 seconds to make a knife like that
Amazing work, looks fantastic! 💖
I would love a set of kitchen knives like this.
I think that may be the best looking knife from a file I've seen yet.
You are too good at it.
Well done, wonderful and perfect, you are a great craftsman and engineer, respect from me, from old BG.

This knife deserves a leather case ! Amazing work!
I LOVE the handle. Thats genius right there dude.
Hi, teatcher. ) Very good job. Thks.
By far the nicest file knife I've ever seen. I never thought to leave the teeth as grip texture.
best 👍
It’s perfect and no pieces to break off or to damage.
Thats beautiful
ideality in simplicity👍🏻
He makes it look so easy.
another masterpiece!
Very nice knife simply the best
beautiful knife
That is a super unique way to make a file knife, very original and probably one of the coolest that I have seen. Probably going to have do this myself.
Nice. Came with scales already installed.
Masterpiece!
simply beautifull
Wow , I am amazed with your skill set. Keep going.
Great knife
I like the hand-filed hand-file profile.
F badass! Pure bliss to watch! Thank you so much

Very nice indeed. Enjoyed watching this.
I like this knife the most. Nice work!
I am very like this knife.
That is the nicest "file" knife I have ever seen.
You are the business when it comes to art, craft, design and practicality. Yet another wonderful piece of work!!!✌️👍🔥
Master piece
Great work..
Very very very nice

very good work. I have yet to make a knife with that steel. very good results and edge retention are obtained on the knife. Cheers
Beautiful!
Another beautiful and fascinating project. One thing i would have done, especially after after watching your thumb sliding, is some mild thumb jimping.
Made that look easy 👊
I’m about to make one like it. Wish me luck😎

Like the idea for making the handle!!!
