    @@alfisdrake I can agree with that, but he also isn't overbearing and he's pretty straight to the point. I'm not saying those qualities are necessarily a bad thing either. I watch plenty of channels with intros, character personalities and plenty of BSing. Shadiversity can be pretty overbearing at times lol I just very much appreciate a solid, to the point, speaks for itself video.

    @Jao Bai Dun Most knives don't require a lot of force to unlock....he's clearly struggling to unlock it therefore it is unsafe as it forces his hand to get smacked by the blade. Any good edge on the blade would slice his hand open.

    @Jao Bai Dun Eh, here I'd be a bit worried due to the sliding motion it gives. Knives cut best when you pull them, and so this basically looks to me like it doubles the risk. Beautiful stuff, for sure, but I wouldn't put my hands near it closing.

The same as you did for the Allen screws but smaller. And once peened over, they are buffed until totally flush with the body, save getting fingers and trouser pockets caught

    As a machinist, allow me to make a suggestion. On your milling machine, use an aluminum sub-plate. It's a softer, disposible, plate that bolts onto your mill's table saving the table from any potential damage by drilling or milling. Cheap insurance if you value the condition of your table. And you should value the condition of your table.

    I understand where your coming from but I only have one thing to point out he never called it a pocket knife he called it a folding knife and yes I know same thing but I doubt that’s the knife you’ll want if you either get in trouble or need for survival

  • @Momoka7

    @Momoka7

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@jangrzyb670 Semantics. Pocket knife... folding knife... this doesn't need to be a knife with a blade that can be locked in place. I had a few knifes that where "folding knifes" in my lifetime... they all could be placed in a pocket. This here is no different... apart from the fact that there is seemingly nothing that locks it in a closed or open state. Which is what I lamented. I love the design, looks really unique. But what use is it if you can only put it on a table, or carry it in a way that is not within your pockets? You can use a pocket knife for basic stuff in survival... no need for a locked big knife. Oh and lastly... if I get in "trouble" with other people... a knife is not the right tool to deal with that. Unless you are in the wilderness and fight a animal... but then I would carry a Crocodile Dundee style "knife". Compared to that... this isn't even a knife.

A locking mechanism in the handle, and a blade that's hollow in the first portion and a taper all the way in from the spine, with a part of the sink blade sticking out to prevent it from sliding all the way down. A notch is cut down the blade and a rectangular bar is used to keep the blade straight when you swing the blade out with the handle open which would release the lock. The hollow section of the blade would be lined with leather, to midigate the blade dulling, and the hollow blade could have a bit stopping the sink blade from going all the way out. It wouldn't fold in by itself by flipping it, nor would it do the wack ass thing that mortimer rasmey is seen doing when he stabs alexia in the beginning of the second game.

    Needs a quality locking system, but it doesn't look particularly dangerous to me, it clearly should just be held from the back while folding, closing a normal knife in this odd hold will cut you as well. 😂🤔

    I always tune in as I love to watch your designs come to life. They always give something. I am curious, however... it looks like when retracting this one, the blade is so close to sliding through your hand, is this an illusion of the camera angle or a learning point for you? haha. Thanks for sharing your work, brother!
