Knife Catch Move in Movies/TV Series

Not necessarily the most practical move but definitely one of the coolest, the "knife catch move", or whatever it's supposed to be called, has been cinematically used multiple times throughout the years ever since its possible debut in 2003's 'The Hunted'. Here's some of the other examples I've personally noticed. If you think I missed one then let me know in the comments. Man, the 2000's Donnie Yen film are just something else. There aren't many martial arts movies I've rewatched more, and they have such a feel to them, hard to describe!
It just works as the subversion of the main rule of knife fights: "Control opponent's knife hand"

What did I just watch?🤔 The first few videos were spot on and I enjoyed them,👍 then there is darkness and some clip that lasted a minute and a half which nobody can see. I take it this guy is a GOT fan. ⚔
