Kitchen Build & First Supper in the Cabin! / Ep108 / Outsider Cabin Build

Thanks to Yoshino for sponsoring this episode! yoshinopower.com/
I build the kitchen and prepare my first meal in the cabin! Afterward, I milled materials to make the bed for the upstairs loft. Then I explore the nearby waterways in my new kayak.

The kitchen looks fantastic with all the rustic charm that you have created to make the cabin a home. I am so sorry about your wife and that she improves over time to enjoy the cabin with you and your daughter. You have done amazing workmanship that your dad would be proud of.Thank you for sharing.

Only you could build a kitchen in a day and also have it functional. It already looks fantastic and when you have it finished it will be awesome. I can almost see your dad smiling, a big ear to ear grin and nudging those around him pointing out ‘that’s my boy’ . You’ve made great progress and I believe you will have it ready for Christmas. Take care, looking forward to your next video. I hope Mrs Outsider is feeling better.

Your beautiful dad helped you built a comfortable and warm home to share with more family members. I'm sorry you have lost your parents physically but with the way you speak about them, you haven't lost them in mind and heart. I think you are also a loving husband and father. Great progress on the kitchen my overseas friend! I’m sooo excited to see it finished of with copper. It’ll look fantastic I’m sure. So sorry to hear about Mrs. Outsider’s health issues. Our prayers are with your family of course. Hoping she’ll be healthy enough to move into the cabin soon so we can support the whole of your family. This whole series oozes a man’s desire to provide and shelter for his family. And is 1 great reminder of Outlander Sr. He’s dearly missed by your online community. As always, a motivating, inspirational and very calming video update. The way the deer appeared from behind the tree was so idyllically beautiful that it was almost seemingly fake. Of course it wasn't, but it highlighted that nature is often more beautiful than a staged scene in a Hollywood movie or an animated film by Disney.

I envy your cabin as it was a longtime dream of mine to build one somewhere in the upper mid west (America). Though a lifetime of setbacks and now a bad back, that dream has been pushed aside unless I had it built by a company that builds them. That defeats the purpose though as I wanted to build my own. I can't stress enough how beautiful your cabin has turned out and I'm sure your dad would be very proud of what you have accomplished. It was nice he had a very big part in it's construction and you can always cherish knowing you spent quality time with him in building it. You’ve completed quite a bit and your cabin already looks cozy. Copper is an excellent choice for countertop. It’s not only looks pretty but it’s also antibacterial.

Glad to see you again. Having the family at the cabin will be so nice. You are so lucky to have a place like that to go to. Warm cozy winter nights with the family will be worth the sweat. Keep up the good work and we will be waiting for the episode with the Mrs.

The entire cabin build has been *amazing*. I remember the first episode we watched was the one where someone had stolen a large amount of firewood from your storage area. We watched the entire cabin build -- the most eye-popping jobs were when you and Sr. Outsider put the roof on, in the snow!

We remember the episode with you and your wife discussing her health for the first time. Our prayers are with you both, and God Bless both of you. It will be so awesome when the cabin is far enough along that she and your daughter can spend more time out there with you.

I can't wait to see the cabin completely finished! I hope the porch will be a wrap around porch from the front of the cabin to the back of the cabin, but it's what you are envisioning that matters. For pain in the body, Alkaline water that is 9.5 or higher helps to stop the pain, and drinking it everyday helps keep you going to the bathroom, which is always recommended when one is dealing with health issues. Be blessed.
