Kirin Jindosh's Meandering Recovery, Audio [Dishonored 2]

Ойындар

After reading about his being 'gentle as a lamb' in the Silver Spike, we find here that the effects of the machine aren't entirely permanent in this interview with one of the Duke's men.

There's a newspaper you can find in Ashworth's mission which said that he had a terrible reputation even among his own staff. They probably fucked with him a lot.

Jindosh always saddened me. He wasn’t wrong when he told you during his time in the chair that you were ruining an age of innovation. Think of what he could have accomplished were he not such an evil man

And then you go take out Ashford. If you take the non-lethal option, then go to her office and speak to the Delilah statue, Corvo tells her "Tell me, Delilah. If you didn't have so much hate, what would you have?" -while wagging his finger at her. Honestly, the writing in this game is a bit cringey.

Sadly, as of Death of the Outsider, he's dead. Either he was killed by Emily's own hand or getting his brain fried caused him to die from health complications not long after the events of Dishonored 2.

he has a diary note in his house that says he holds no hatred for the kaldwin empire. he simply just wanted to follow which path looked most likely to succeed. he's not a great person, but I'm sure he would be easily won over after the events of the game

i think killing him is wrong, because he is an inventor who ultimately chose the wrong side of political conflict. he is a douche, but he is also a genius whose intelegence, may improve thousand of lives. clockwork soldiers are a terrifing and misguided invention, but it is also a technical marvel that could compare only to a wall of light made by sokolov, who also chose the wrong side of political conflict and yet, the game decides that he should live. there is no perfect way of dealing with jindosh, be i the main characther, i would be impressed by him and his inventions, and do everything in my power, supernatural power included, to persuade him to change sides. i hope that the effects of shock are temporary and he will recover. nevertheless i agree the killing him using his own clockwork soldiers is ironic as hell, shame that there is no achivement for that.

The non-lethal ways are usually more cruel if you think about it. The aftermath of most of them explain or shows how they suffered till they eventually died. It may be more 'grey' but they definitely do not get a happy ending.

I get that everyone hates this ending but i personally love it. Dishonored 2 has style but it never reaches the utter grimness of Dishonored 1 that made it so captivating. Seeing the results of the lobotomy here, however, gives just a little glimpse of thjat utter bleakness from the first game and that visceral sense of destroying a persons life to the point that they're but a walking corpse.
