As the chaos of 2021 comes to a close, hopefully this cozy tune will provide some comfort going into the New Year! This arrangement was conceived for a winter song contest, and Snow Land from Kirby's Epic Yarn came to mind as one of our favorite icy areas in games, with the first level theme of Snowy Fields encompassing those cheerful holiday vibes incredibly well! As the original song is already so pleasant few changes were made, but acoustic guitar and piano were substituted in as the leads to give a more homely feel, with added background glockenspiel for a touch of Christmas. Finally, the lyrics for the ending were written by yours truly and sung by me and Chris to add a slight depth (and a touch of cheesiness) to the meaning behind the music.
