Today we're diving into the adorable world of Epic Yarn for a double cover of Quilty Court and Kirby's Pad, the game's two amazing apartment themes!
When the Soundole 2021 Chill Out Cover Competition was announced Epic Yarn was one of the first games that came to mind for chill tunes (closely followed by its spiritual successor in Yoshi's Wooly World), making the only real difficulty in this arrangement deciding which songs to pick!
The track is mostly acoustic guitar and a bright piano, with a shaker egg being used for the first time in place of our usual maracas for a lighter sound. Moreover, both songs use the relaxed, yet upbeat, tempo and chord rhythms of Quilty Court while switching between the two melodies.
