I miss the vortex 😥

Fun :) I spent a lot of time at KI in the summers of 1987 and 1988, and worked there in summer 1990. It's totally possible I was at the park on the day you filmed this.

Vortex was added to Kings Island in 1987, which was only 32 years ago. It is one of my favourite looping roller coasters. :-)

@@mtl10 it was the first coaster my daughter got to ride. We went back on the last night of the Haunt this year to get one more in. It'll be missed

@@SlimmG8r I worked at greater's this pass season and I snuck out of my shift on break to go ride the vortex boy it was a good time.

It was a bit of a novelty in that era -- nothing like today where everybody has a video camera in their pocket.

I love how the original bat's cut support was still chilling there. When was the bridge over Vortex built?
