@@e3vL1 Wes Ball has talked about even though you don't hear Link talk in the games, he does communicate with the townspeople etc., it's just not something the player is privy to. He recognizes the reason we don't hear Link talking in the games as stated by Miyamoto (silent protagonist for the player to be "linked" to the game and express themselves through him rather than having a pre-determined expressiveness basically). So I think Link will definitely talk in the movie

I loved it. I loved that the movie touches on Caesers legacy and what his myth is in this new time. I loved the new characters. I loved the cgi, the music. Im still unsure about how i feel about how Nova's story ended, and the gun in her hand at Noas village, and the bunker, and how many "undevolved" humans are out here still after all these generations. However, great awesome addition to the POTA universe

After waiting and waiting FINALLY got to see POTA the other day (after re-watching 1+2+3 days earlier)! Act 1 engaging, great characters, visuals spot on .. then it slowed down in act 2 … didn’t pick back up … then act 3 happened, it finished and I left feeling underwhelmed unfortunately. To me … it ended up feeling like the movie Lightyear. Still good, but the first act was easily the best. Act 2 and especially 3 didn’t get back to 1’s height. It also had the similar storyline as the third POTA with Woody H. But, defs will see the next few after this one

The biggest issue with this movie is that, ultimately, it's about nothing terribly interesting. I'm sure it has cool computer monkeys and visuals, but great sci-fi should offer so much more. The original 1968 movie dealt with so many fascinating philosophical themes: from cold-war paranoia to environmentalism. It was also a great work of political satire. The men who created the OG Apes were Rod Serling and Pierre Boulle; both genius' who had a LOT to say in the original novel and movie. This movie has nothing to contribute to their legacy other than some nice graphics. Shame.

That is a straw man argument, and it is not a nice way to argue. No one says creatives should not get paid fair. But why should they be paid for residuals when they did not put up the money for the production? I design and delivery software, and I am paid for my time, but once the product is delivered the company owns it because they paid for my time while making it, and thus I do not get paid whenever the software is used. That is how it is for every other line of work and it is nothin unfair about it
