I remember this fight. I lost so many times to him. The one time i won was by accident. I was trying to collect items to craft my ultima. So i used lucky lucky and used the winnie the pooh keyblade. I forgot to switch and challenged him. Somehow i won while i was lvl 54. My brother kept laughing at the fight

How can Sora restore his full HP using drives? I played this so many times and as I remember you cannot use drives or limits during sephiroth battle. Its fairly easy though to beat him, equip Ultima sword, use all defense boost on Sora, then use potion or curaga just before his 'heartless angel' spell drops😂 your HP to near death. Also I discovered using reflega on most of his attacks and spells, it deflects back to sephiroth for huge damage!

its because this is happening when cloud has fallen into lifestream on disc 2. he is constantly travaling between the worlds (ff tactics, kh,dissidia etc.) looking for some1(sometimes dont even know for who). and since its life stream aeris is in there , but he has that guilty concious coz she is already dead in "his" world.

Fenrir, be it bad or good, is unique in its own right. It's got the longest length besides two other Keyblades: Ultima Weapon and Winner's Proof. And you could pair it up with Lionheart and just go ham on anyone you wanted.

Incase anyone was wondering, the “Descend heartless angel” move can be interrupted by jumping and hitting him, even a spell works too I believe, might help to avoid a death.

Sephiroth is immune to most spells. He takes damage from reflect, but I heard he takes dage from magnet too. I have yet to confirm it

Literally the internet is going back to all old Sephiroth videos just to let everyone know that he is in Smash. It's truly amazing.

I’m here after they announced that Sora is now part of Smash.

And now you can do the same in super smash bros , damm Sakurai is a genius

I love how casually Cloud said Shut up the first time

I would replay this fight so many times as a child it was addicting 🤣❤️

Best ending: Sora finally gets smash invitation and revenge sephiroth

Sephiroth: Now you're in Smash Sora, I will finally show you a true despair again.

Cloud: When your fusion sword won't hold itself together, so you use some tape.

Sephiroth saying "Show me your strength." has the same energy and vibe as Vergil Sparda of Devil May Cry saying "Show me your motivation!"

I was 7 years old when I had my battle with Sephiroth in KH2. It was tough, because in this year, I didn't have internet or certain place to watch a walkthrough and I didn't know English language, because I'm Brazilian, and the game it's totally English. Anyway, I put Sora in 99 level and create a insane strategy to beat Sephiroth. And then, I finally got this insane weapon. The best part of this story, it's the way that I found this secret mission and after I created a way to kill him. By the way, It was magic to see character's from FF7 in KH2. This is so nostalgic, I really miss this old times. Actually it's easier to find the secrets/mysterys of games because of the internet and I really use and appreciate that. But I miss this old times, because we didn't have any information and need to explore everything by ourselves. And when you achieve that alone, the experience it's amazing, it's a really satisfaction.

I remember this fight. I rage quit, picked up Birth By Sleep years later and finally went back to defeat this nuisance. The satisfaction was palpable.

Back in my day, we never these "Limit Forms" when fighting Sepheroth. We relied on guard, reflecta, dodging, jumping, gliding, potions, and pure skill.

Canonically, in my head, both Cloud and Sephiroth just mysteriously vanished and went to Smash, and Sora followed their power there.

Everytime Sephiroth appears or makes a cameo his sword gets longer. On the last part of FF7 remake his sword will me 50ft long

Now we can see this matchup in smash!

This video gets funnier as it ages because now 2 out of the 3 non Disney characters mentioned are in smash Some day sora, some day.
