Excellent review. You covered all the things that stood out to me since I bought these last night lol.

saw on another review that the sleep mode can now be changed in the program. you can change the time or just disable it completely.

I got the G633 instead. I assume it's the same thing as this but without the wireless.

I bought this product... it has static noise from 80-100% volume , it's a huge disappointment for me :( this happens only when used on wireless. Do you have any solution ?

@@Longshotsz yup, returned them 2-3 days after discovering the problem... and went for Cloud Alphas. Now, I will buy the Logitech G PRO X wireless and hope for the best.

@@Longshotsz I want to go full wireless. Mouse - Keyboard - Headphones, all wireless. I've looked at the Arctis Pro wireless or something like that, but Logitech came with the PRO X headset and I want to give them a chance and get their PRO X wireless + G PRO and the G915 wireless keyboard.

how far can you walk away from the usb before it fails the connection?

Um there a option to change the stand by time if you look at 3:38 it says if there is no audio, turn off the headset after 5 mins you can change that and it will change the stand by time or even turn it off completely thats what I did

Had to do a bit of fiddling with the settings such because in both overwatch and PUBGs I couldn’t hear behind me which was so tilting because I couldn’t hear riptires and loot crates. I was ready to return it and just keep my hyperx but I did more research and got it for work. It is incredible now that it’s working at 100%

Well i have one a friend bought one and it constantly breaks or is havving connection issues, or its like mine and its shitty quality and you only hear the left or right sound. dont buy if you dont intend to return it for a new one each month

So you've been using the headset for a long time right? You didn't have the problem of the headband cushion peeling off on either side? 'Cause I sure have that problem, contacted Logitech support, they've sent me a replacement and that also has that problem. Also a lot of reviewers complained about the headset falling off the head pretty easily, if you tilt your head. I also experience that, at first it was very annoying, whenever I tilted the head, to drink, I immediately felt like the headset was about to fall off. After a while I got used to it, if I place the headband part a bit more forward, then it sits almost perfectly.

You'd just have to move the USB dongle between consoles

So if my pc doesent have bluethooth i can just plug in the dongle and the i will be able to use it whireless?

They're not Bluetooth, so yes wired is the only way to connect to phones.

Plug 3.5mm jack into top of phone and into the USB dongle make sure mixer end is In USB USB will flash green . turn on press wireless button and headset is wireless but phone is wired to USB :)

Claylex I love it but in my opinion it isn't the most comfortable but I just got it and I have a large head so the grip will likely weaken... Another thing is I've read an online thread about replacing the earpads and making them feel and sound way better by doing so because their sportmesh isn't that great but rn I cant shell out loads of money for this so for now I'll stick with my sportmesh but I must say I love everything else about them :) I hope this helped

I have these.. The auido is very god but i recommend the arctis 7 (audio is a little better and the headsets have less bugs). After 1 hear with the g933, the power button got a issue (very commun in this model) and now the sound is unbalanced

You can customize it in the software!!! although I prefer the 5 minute turn off because just scrolling the volume makes it instantly turn back on, as does any audio.

Hey people, this is just a heads up for people who wants to buy this headset. I loved this headsets as the quality for both the sound and mic are amazing ( can be worked on the bass) and you hardly need to charge this headset as it goes for a looong time without charging (can also be used with charging cable plugged which will charge it fully very quick). The software and the headset was amazing 9/10 overall for me. HOWEVER the headset stopped working for me and for many others, out of nowhere. Firstly the connection issues and then follows up with static sometimes and then the mic entirely shuts down and never can be used again regardless if wired connection or wireless. This issue started to rise with Win 10 update and believed to be caused by the software. No matter what I've done and what many others tried hasn't worked out. If you are going ot buy this headset please have the warranty ready and please advice from the logitech themselves first (I have created a ticket about my issues, but no one has replied yet and that was months ago). Because it's such a heart break when such an amazing headset becomes useless and there isn't much you can do to get it working fine again and there aren't any headsets that can do exactly what this beast can do. I had to refund mine unwillingly though got myself a man o'war, wired version, this works really good too and love the bass in this, but still would love to have my G933 back all fixed and well if I could.

I bought them too , had huge expectations after watching a lot of reviews on them... but they have constant static noise between 80-100% volume... they're good on 3.5mm cable but I bought them for wireless... which has static noise. If the price was 50$ maybe I would have accepted the static noise... Worst pair of headset I've ever had.

Cata did you check if it was caused by the faulty headset or it was a general issue? Or maybe more issues have risen since then... But I had no issue with my G933's audio or the mic, until the windows 10 problem surfaced (see above). Even at the loudest it hadn't upset me a bit. Maybe get it replaced and see if it's the faulty headset.

I'm 100% sure there are people that had no problems with them but I wasn't one of them..... I tried everything I could think of and everything I found online , I almost reassembled my whole PC just to find out where the static noise comes from but I gave up. I will try to return them and NEVER buy headsets from logitech again... (My G230 broke after 1year~ and I'm super careful with my stuff). I will try to get my money back and buy HyperX Cloud Alpha... I'll have a wire but at least I will not have a storm in my ear all the time.

btw , when I was connecting the 3.5mm in the dongle , the static noise would stop UNTIL I would open a video on youtube or some source of sound to reactivate it... and it would go away after 5-10seconds after the source of sound would stop BUT after a PC restart it would come back UNTIL I would repeat the dongle process and so on...

The ones I bought have static noise for the headphones itself , between 80-100% volume , didn't tried the microphone because I have an AT2020XLR...

I think the Alienware headset sounds better and it's apparently very very comfy though it it 60 euro more expensive.

The biggest problem with this headset is you can shake it off easily...

+EposVox You didn't look further, you should dig deeper. You should hear what Professionals in the music industrie say and Pro gamers are saying about it. Watch some of their KZread video's. And read about who these people are that are making the headphones. Read some first hands on reviewers articles. "Don't judge a book by its cover"

Literally every audio gimmick ever made has had professional gamers, musicians, audio engineers, etc. swearing how great it is. That means nothing to me. If the opportunity arises, I will happily try them myself and give them a fair shot. But until then, my strong belief is that directional audio needs to happen within the audio mix itself (in which case stereo is just fine for headphones, or surround for physical speakers), not in after-the-fact voodoo.

+EposVox Yes, I agree the directional audio needs to happen in software & hardware, they are doing software and hardware engineering for this product. What i hear all these people say that tested the headphone is, that they can hear sounds better and preciser vertically. Which gives you a feeling being in a sphere. Well i hope you will contact them in the future, and maybe get a review sample from them. I am eagerly waiting for that day :)

I could not disagree more with almost everything you said in this review. I bought these and returned them after just one day of use. they are extremely uncomfortable and squeeze your head very tightly. The sound of definitely not bass heavy or punchy like you described. The sound overall is quite mediocre at best. My $100 pair of Audio Technica's can blow these out of the water. With a modmic slapped on they are infinitely better and much cheaper

A - Sounds like you had EQ or something not set up right for them not to be bass-heavy. B - I have a big head and insanely sensitive to clamping pressure to the extent that I usually piss a lot of people off in reviews complaining about it; but did not have a problem with these. Top-band weight, but not much clamping pressure. Then again, all solid band headphones have a break-in period and one day is not enough for that.

Lies, i have one and the sound is the only thing that is very good, quality is shit but the audio is really great, the fit is also perfect for me, but it just breaks, dont even get me started on what breaks, EVERYTHING breaks with this headset
