신연아님 목소리는 잡음이 없는 아주 깨끗한 목소리고 노래 부를 때 기교가 없이 클리어하죠. 기교를 넣지 않고 잘 부르는 내공은 감히 어디에서도 쉽게 찾아보기 힘들죠.

I think Shin Yeon-ah (the one on the far left) could be an amazing jazz vocalist, because she has one of those classic jazz voices. The one the far right could probably sing several genres, including country, extremely well. She has a sort of Sara Evans sound.

i have to say, y'all brought up some really good points about longevity as a singer and i thought about it in the context of some of my favourite artists. and anyway, i went to listen to the original recordings of the songs in this set on their spotify and they really do sound better and more seasoned than before. idk if it has to do with the arrangement, or production, but after listening to their killing voice set, the recordings sound slightly lacking and more toned down. and nothing can beat the energy and technicality of this particular performance! shin yeon-ah on the far left is also my favourite, sometimes you don't have to do a lot for people to recognise you're just as good, she's crazy good at incorporating that syncopation feel (idk how to word this?) in her voice especially to convey emotion. those vocal flips too, jeez!

They have since gained a lovely nickname of ProfessorDols by some fans because they're professors at universities and idols at the same time. I wonder how their students must've felt when they saw their professors on live TV after 9 years of being disbanded. Oh and FUN FACT: they were one of YG Entertainment's first girl groups.

My favorite is also far left, Ms Shin and far left, Ms. Park!!! I love their voice. It is Very clean and restricted technics from deep experience. All these member become vocal professor now.

So from like 1:45 first he was talking about how much technique they used as singers because when you are young and in your 20's you have the advantage of youth but that runs out and once you mature you have to reply on technique to still sound as great as they do. He also loved Shin Yeon Ah's voice the most because of her tone and how she sounds like she has autotune, and the note choices she made. He also said she's his favourite. He also said this is why you should practice when you're young so that you have discipline as you age. At 4:50 he was talking about how singers in the UK, age and lose what used to make them sound great as compared to when they were younger. Big Mama in comparison still sounds amazing older and they haven't lost anything. Hope that helps!

초반에는 보통 보컬리스트는 20대에 목소리에 에너지가 많은데 나이 들어서는 그 에너지가 없어지면서 예전 만큼 못 부르는데 빅마마는 노래를 하면서 여유와 경험이 묻어있고 더 성숙하게 노래를 부르는 것 같다고, 기본기가 매우 탄탄하고 기술이 좋다고 합니다

Yeah we realised that was the issue after but it was my first time screen recording with someone else's computer, we didn't know but we do now.

솔직히 외국인들에게 익숙한 곡들도 아니고 저렇게 이어폰이나 헤드폰도 착용안하고 산만한 분위기에서 2명이상 시청하는 리액션들은 대부분 고음 파트에만 반응하지 진지하게 듣지는 않음
