The group was made by SM 2003. Considered one of 4 legendary female singers(groups) in Kpop up to date. All of them are currently vocal professors at different colleges so literally this is "when the professors demonstrate how to get A+"

So happy to see young people like you, watch and appreciate Big Mama. I remember the day in 2004, my friend at college, show me Big Mama - Break Away omv. The mv tell about 4 beautiful girls singing at club. But actually they aren't the real singer, they just lipsync. The real singer is them, singing at backstage with a casual clothes, far from glamour and blings. But they are the actual singer with the great voice. Since that mv that came out at 2003, to this year with the new song, their voices is still steaming hot. Legend. Period.

어떻게 노래를 따라 부르는지 궁금하긴 함 단순히 한글을 읽을 수 있다고 해도 노래를 부르는 것은 상급 레벨인데 중얼거리는 입모양이 해당 노래를 알고 따라부르는 수준이라 놀라움

There's an image of ugly but talented singers debuting in Korea. It's because of the debut song breakaway. The music video was about this. Beautiful models lip-syncing on the stage and Big Mama singing hard behind the stage. The music video brought sensations from Korean society and was a huge hit with the music video. After that, yg became an agency that raised real singers, not lip syncers with pretty faces.
