I love that we're living in a world where an engineer gets recognized. Especially one as good as @Justin Glasco

She's by far my favorite singer. I just love her style of singing, she can go slightly nasal when she wants, but she does it only shortly, than she lets little rasp in, she can sing clear... anything she wants, but every little thing she does is in service of the song . I could just close my eyes and enjoy. Unperfect perfection.

Rozzi is one of the few singers who can bring me to tears...amazing cover.

I saw Roberta Flack mesmerize the audience at the Mississippi River Festival 1971. More than 50 years later, I stumbled upon this stirring rendition you make totally and timelessly relevant. Rozzi's performance is a vocal tour de force!

Extremely difficult cover. Rozzi nailed it.

This brings me right back to the night, sometime in the mid-70s, when I was an usherette at the Queen E Playhouse in Vancouver, and got to see Roberta Flack perform this live. I sat on the steps of the upper balcony, mesmerized, tears rolling down my cheeks. Still can't believe I got paid to be overwhelmed by emotion. And this version gives me shivers!

I swear some of the best musical performances of all time comes from this channel. You can just tell that everyone on the team absolutely loves what they do.

@@iFoneVids Umm, actually.... "Killing Me Softly with His Song" is a song composed by Charles Fox with lyrics by Norman Gimbel. The lyrics were written in collaboration with Lori Lieberman after she was inspired by a Don McLean performance in late 1971.

@@iFoneVids Roberta Flack's version is stil the best but there are a couple other very good version. This comes closest to Roberta's version which is both good and bad, I prefer Roberta's version but this was a great tribute and showcases a very skilled singer. I think she could have made it her own more clearly.

No doubt. Lauryn Hill made this a radio staple & mass favorite of the 90's...

It’s rare that a voice just grabs me and won’t let go. I listened to this twice then went on Spotify to hear some more. This isn’t my kind of music - not my generation - and yet she’s taken this classic from ages ago and made it her own in a very special way. Plus the arrangement and musicians are fantastic.

What's not to LOVE, it's Rozzi after all. Just heard she's opening for Joss Stone on several dates of the current tour. Now that would be ... a concert experience!

You can't go wrong with Rozzi. She brings it.

start of the song. it has little distortions, fade, which adds a layer of oldness. a tottaly diffrent vibe. love it.

What a song. It’s such a story that allows the artist to bring us emotion, feeling, sadness, angst. Rozzi delivers. She immerses herself into the song so completely. 😊

Wow. wow. wow. Just putting aside for a second the JAW dropping performance from Rozzi. Ryan! Again with a ridicules guitar tone? what!? like that baritone acoustic bass sound. You've got me scratching my head going "how? what? ooo sooo goooood" Old vintagey EQ? but somehow gets the old speaker rattle with the bass notes. rubber bridge and tail piece? on a... semi hollow les paul jr rhythm? what! Kudos to you and your journey in sound crafting. What a juicy soft tone for my ears to sink into.
