Great idea of blending the greens first. Just tried it, and it makes a much better smoothie. Thanks. Love your channel!

It does, right?!
I'm a portuguese and i'm watching you from England. I might try this recipe, but i will leave the whey protein out, not because it's dairy, but because i prefer to take protein directly from food.
Thanks for the spinach/milk tip!
Oh tester! lol I feel like you say that when there's really good food and you just can't help yourself. Thanks for the tip on the greens/milk! The smoothie looks delicious
Thanks for this!
That looks really good. Can't wait to try it. I'm sure my kids will love it.

Hello ! thanks for sharing this great recipe. Can you please make a video about the vital proteins? I have been curious about this brand and their benefits. Thank You
Love the smoothie. Mine is always freash apple juice, frozen banana, peanut butter, flaxseeds, fresh kale and frozen spinach.
Thanks so much for suggesting options to replace bananas for those of us who are sensitive. So many others don't know what to suggest when asked.
Reminds me of a healthy version of the Wendy's Frosty
Great video ! Thanks ... where can I find the kids superfoods ?
this is mary sallie fom WA State. thanks for the tip on blending the greens. because it does tend to be difficult.

Hi Dani i saw your smoothies and i fall in love with them. Do you personally have a recipe book of your smoothie. I would love ro have your book.
Shskler makes a really good Chocolate Meal Shake and a good multivitamin for kids. Very clean INGREDIENTS.They even have a liquid one for toddlers who need the iron and vitamins.
Is the collagen protein powder safe for babies and toddlers? I know you said the whey protein was safe. I just wanted to be sure! I've been leaning toward this brand for myself but always get nervous giving stuff to my little one. Thank you!
Please do a video on how to freeze vegetables
Just found your channel, so thank you! Totally tried blending the spinach into the milk and pre-freezing the bananas last night.... Magic! I had to fight my boyfriend for my own smoothie!! So good!
That would make a great smoothie bowl

Whey definitely tastes the best and has the best texture, and whey also is the fastest and best absorbed form of protein too. I used to be afraid because it's technically dairy, but it's pretty low in lactose and such a great protein source!

Agreed!
Is the protein powder a must? If so, why?
SHAKLEE is the name of the company with a really tasty clean Chocolate meal shake. They also have vanilla.
I'm so glad you suggested that he stop moving the camera like that. 😂👍🏻
Can you give me an idea of how your macros break down each day? I don't understand the obsession with adding protein powder to things. Surely you are getting enough protein elsewhere? Excess protein on a regular basis is pretty hard on the liver.
My son is 8 and my daughter is 2 and I am constantly making smoothies for them. Their favorite is a green smoothie.
I love your live series, but I wish you would let us know the ingredient list in advance so I can cook with you.
I use plant based SunWarroir
Do you have to have milk
I've recently added pre-gelled(overnight) beef gelatin for collagen (joint health) to our morning smoothies and it adds an amazing creamy texture! I'm going to try this recipe on my teenage boys because they are sadly resistant to veggies... :)
Clean & Delicious....raw and uncut 😃 I love this recipe! Now to get boyfriend to drink it 🤔

+Ashley Jerrett what? That's crazy... are sure it wasn't just the one seller. Sometimes different sellers will sell same item at different price points.
Can you tell me about your jeans? Is that a strange question? Lol I'm a fan from North Bay Ontario, thanks for the videos.

Can you recommend a brand of Whey protein powder? There are SO many brands & I know they are not all created equal. Many have a lot of sugar.

can I use arugula instead of baby spinach?
@TheKarebear666
7 жыл бұрын
theREDgamer99 9 it has a little bit more taste than spinach. You could add it, it would add some peppery taste to it
A spoonful of athletic greens with some ground flax seeds, almond milk (scratch), protein powder (banana), and frozen banana. fast and simple
This looks like a Wendy's frosty. Lol
Adding a tsp of Carlson's fish oil increases the DHA and brain health for Kids too without sacrificing the taste. Nice and creamy shake .
Is it ok if I use frozen spinach?

If it's fresh and you freeze it, then it's good. But if it comes frozen, then it's likely been partially cooked prior to being frozen and won't be good. Learn from my mistake lol :)

I really think it's not necessary to blend the greens and milk first before adding the other ingredients. I guess maybe it'd be okay if you didn't have a vitamix but I wouldn't do that personally. Also personally I'd add less fruit and more greens. I like my smoothie to be green looking. Yeah it hides the greens so kids can't no there's greens in it but kids need to eat veggies anyway without trying to hide the veggies.

Sarah Windmueller yeah I have mixed feelings about that- on the one hand you want your kids to learn that greens are good! If you always hide them they won't learn to like them. On the other hand I have a friend who's kid REFUSES to eat anything green despite having had greens and veggies and enjoying them all his life then suddenly decided green is evil and yucky and will refuse to eat his smoothies now. His mom was able to trick him by putting them in an opaque cup with a lid and straw at first but then he caught on. This might work for her so long as he doesn't see her making it. But still I don't get why he suddenly hatred green things all of a sudden?!!
@zzzing23

+Courtney McFarland that's crazy that the kid won't eat his greens all of a sudden. Maybe something happened.. my mom would always make my siblings and I sit at the table until we ate our veggies. We weren't allowed any other kind of food until we ate our veggies. If we didn't eat it we went to bed hungry.

hello!
When filming you need to pan very slowly, very smoothly, that's hard to watch when your jerking the camera up and down. Also,if you keep your arms close to your body it helps keep you from shaking as your arms get tired.
bananas ruin everything for me. any substitution ideas
