Now that was entertainment ! Saw them a couple of times in the early 80's,full live band, great stage set, must have cost a fortune to tour, not sure it would be done today.

Not ahead of his time but unique because this gerne comes from the big bands from the 40's and 50's with people like Cab Calloway and he gave it his own sound to it. Sadly but true, Kid creole never made it big in the usa, but was loved in europe, and he didn't get that rich aswel from his whole career, but i don't care because i love kid creole because he's a professional artist, and i never ever did read a single negative thing about him, so he's also a respectable gentleman.

There are alot of great bands that do a great live performance. check out Trevor horn at the prince's thrust. That is the best live concert ever because there's not single note that is not the same as on the studio albums.

I must write agen. Kid Creole as i did so via television by german canal in the 80th. (I`m from denmark) have never left my warm accept, joyfull , happy listen, special musik first, then live performance. Its a perfect very perfect music and live performance. Kid creole will never ever be musik ill forget. lucky me i have them at harddisk. I hear them even from 1980th til today. still listen. Best music in my top 10. Thank You to all of you for your perfomance and not less your music. Thank YOU!.
