Reminds me of my only one-night stand--my co-worker's younger sister, whom I fell in love with at first site. It was at my co-worker's Halloween Party (1986) and this song was playing when I met her. We danced, talked, drank (not like Endicott) all night and then went to bed and like Endicott, made love hard and long. I gave her my phone number after that and she said she would call. Well, I'm still waiting for that call 30 + years later! Also, a month later, my co-worker took a job on the East Coast (I was living in LA at the time) and I lost touch with him. But this song has special meaning for me.

It seemed to disappear after it's first cycle on Mtv, and I could never remember the name of the artist. But it would pop up in my head every few years. I think I even searched for it a couple for it a couple of times over the years to no avail. Long story short: This is a damn good song, haven't heard it in years, thanks for posting.

One of the great music video productions of the MTV era. The tune and lyrics has stayed in my memory since I saw it one time during a retrospective in the mid 1980's. Few others have had the impact of this classic gem.

50-year-old here. I used to hear this record regularly when I worked for Woolworths in London during 2001-2002 and I thought it stood out from the usual stuff that was on their PA system. So many layers of meaning in this tune!
I had a random dream about this song! I had to play this as soon as I woke up.
As Kid Creole fan i watched this video in summer of 1985 and remembered only vivid colours. Then went to buy the LP in Trieste,Italy.Watching and listening this remember all that and finally realizzed how good this song is with full sound and evergreen lyrics. Thanks for posting!
I looked for this video for so long I thought I had invented it in my mind and not actually seen it when I was a little kid.
Has been in my head nonstop since the day it dropped and I don’t know why I still remember this record
I always did love Kid Creole & the Coconuts so Im always glad to see them..
It's soooo gooood to see this again. OMG there were some fun nights watching this with a good friend who isn't here anymore. Thanks for posting it!
thank you!! I've been trying to find this video literally all my life since it saw I once as a kid. tripped me out back then but I remembered the gist of it all these years
Endicott, Stool Pigeon and Sex of It were big dance hits at our clubs in the 80s!
I loved this song as a kid, and was always mystified as to why it wasn't more of a classic familiar eighties tune.
