I've had kidney stones twice, and they are no joke. I drink 60 to 80 ounces of water mixed with cranberry juice. I was raised on well water with a high mineral content for one and didn't drink enough fluids. I do now!!

Had a kidney stone 18 years ago worst pain i ever had in my life. Stopped drinking sodas daily after that. Glad you’re feeling better. Swing looks good. Wish we had weather warm enough to play currently.

Happy New Year, Ernie! Sorry to hear about your traumatic bout of kidney stones - I’ve heard horror stories about the pain from them. Following along some other comments, your swing does look much better - particularly on the drive which you remarked was a good one. It’s hard to convert the practice swing to the course, especially when you aren’t playing much. I haven’t been playing nor practicing much the last few months (my backyard practice area has been impacted by my neighbors doing a construction project that disrupts where my net is set up) and I started to have some regression in swing habits when I just played… 6 rounds at Bandon Dunes last week! Round 5 of course was when I started to really put it together and I shot 76 in mixed conditions on Sheep Ranch when I didn’t even putt that well. Get yourself to Bandon someday! At any rate, I hope you are feeling better and can start getting more rounds in soon to see all the hard work start to pay dividends with your journey to scratch. Cheers, Michael

Thanks Michael! Man, that Bandon trip sounds amazing. Definitely at the top of my bucket list. Hope all is well, and I hope you can get back to practicing soon!

Very ironic, I passed one today. I've had over 10 of them. Had the same reaction on my 1st one. My largest was just slightly smaller than an English pea. Beer helps to pass them, it did on the large one.

The other kidney stones may never pass, we pretty much all have them. I had a scan for something else and was told I had a few, that was 20 years ago and they haven't passed. My Doctor said that they were of a size that they may not pass. It seems the smaller they are the more chance they will pass. BTW I eat a lot of salt am 70 and am in perfect health.

Drink less coffee if you do, I have passed 2 stones, one took 2 weeks , 3 years later a second 6 hours. Drink some apple cider vinegar with water and lemon . Glad you feel better. You could even take apple cider vinegar pills. Good luck

A shot of apple cider vinegar twice a day will help.. if you develop an infection from those stones. Take an extra club when it gets cold out. Great videos.
