Khoresht-e Karafs (Persian Celery Stew) Recipe

Make celery stew with spinach, it's delicious
Khoresht Karafs - a traditional Persian Celery Stew
Celery stew is one of the most delicious Iranian stews.
ingredients:
1 medium onion
Meat 800 grams - lamb meat cut into cubes (or beef)
Celery 500 grams
Dry mint 1 tablespoon
Frozen spinach 250 grams
Half a fresh lime
Salt, red pepper, turmeric, chili, olive oil in sufficient quantity
How to prepare:
Chop the onion and fry it with meat , turmeric and red pepper. Now add 4 glasses of boiling water to the meat and reduce the heat so that the meat cooks slowly.
Chop the stalks of celery and fry them in oil add dry mint finally.
After about 1 hour, when the meat is half cooked, add celery, mint, frozen spinach, salt and chili to the stew. Allow the stew to cook for about another hour until it settles and its colorful oil appears.
Finally, add fresh lime
Serve celery stew with saffron rice.
