Key & Peele - Negrotown - Uncensored
Комедия
A black man who's stopped by the police discovers that there's a place to escape racism: Negrotown.
About Key & Peele:
Key & Peele showcases the fearless wit of stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as the duo takes on everything from "Gremlins 2" to systemic racism. With an array of sketches as wide-reaching as they are cringingly accurate, the pair has created a bevy of classic characters, including Wendell, the players of the East/West Bowl and President Obama's Anger Translator.

"Redlining" is a fantasy. It's been shown that blacks making $25,000 have better scores than blacks making 60,000 a year. Their own reckless spending and poor credit history is WHY they don't get loans.

99% sure this is a parody of the musical Urinetown. Public toilets require a steep fee to use so the homeless are priced out (obviously intentional) of their only means of relief. The corporation who controls the bathrooms work side by side with the police and round up anyone trying to urinate in public. The sentence is a trip to Urinetown which turns out to be death. Super weird concept, but somehow works and makes for a really good musical.

@marty1076

Loan applications are based entirely on your credit score and income. I am Mexican and my wife is Chinese-American and our race has never been a factor in a loan application getting approved or denied. Furthermore, my black Cuban friend has excellent credit and has never been turned down for a car loan. I think this is just irresponsible people with bad credit whining.

One of the quickest high to low emotions I've ever experienced while watching a comedy sketch, even though I saw the end coming--it's horrifyingly hilarious. And then one of the top KZread comments says "So how come there aren't any black African countries with cities/towns like this." WTF? Do you read? Do you have a passport? Are you historically literate? Ever heard of Lagos or Abuja, Nigeria? (Or any other major city in the continent that doesn't treat blackness as non human subject) This person, by this statement alone, perhaps haven't laid a foot inside the African continent--A continent of 54 countries.. You get people who comment under these videos, some for nonsensical tit for tat, others just to troll and be proud of their ignorance--that's perhaps even sadder than the ending of the video. lol SMH

Wilkine Brutus Hey :) That was my comment. I was in Egypt for 2 weeks in Feb and I've been to Morocco more than a few times. How often do you visit the continent? Aside from that, can I ask why you found the comment to be offensive. You could have written a reply stating sources and historical fact but instead you write a separate comment with insults and assumptions.

The amount of effort they put in just for a skit. Just wow. Respect.
This is a painful skit to watch because of how close it hits to reality. There is another skit they did about bullying where they dropped a thesis on the subject matter but in an entertaining way. The best I've seen though is 'Acapella'. someone should give them an award already, or better make one up to give them. The genius of these guys must be fully appreciated.

"Acapella" is my favorite, too. And "I Said (look around) B-tch!" There WAS an article about them in The New Yorker about a year ago. www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/so-long-lcarpetron-its-been-real-key-peele I was hoping that would be a springboard, and we would be seeing more soon. But I haven't seen them in anything new lately.

OK . . . you tryin' to get WAY off track into a debate about how "close to reality" this CLEARLY satirical, silly, farcical sketch is to some individual "real" situations (each of which have/had their own set of facts, actions, reactions, and motivations). We're not talking about all that. Now seriously, STFU . . . can a n- finish a song??? I mean, CAN . . . A . . . N- . . . FINISH? LOL!
